Theintroductionofanoptionalfaculty-widestudentdonation feeof$100foreachstudentintheSchoolofHealthStudies and1st /2ndyearNursingstudents(bothWesternand Fanshawesites)intheFacultyofHealthSciencesatWestern University; Reframingthepurposeandallocationoffunds(80%toeach SchoolCouncil,20%totheFacultyofHealthSciences Students’Council—studentscanapplytoeitherpooloffunds).

TheFacultyofHealthSciencesStudents’Councilisthe only facultystudents’councilwithoutastudentdonationfee; Currently,anoptional(opt-out)$100studentdonationfeeis collectedfromallKinesiologystudentsand3 rdand4thyear Nursingstudents(WesternandFanshawesites); o Onthewhole,thesestudentsareunawareofwhattheir currentdonationfeefunds Feeinadequatelysupportsstudentneeds; NosuchfeeiscollectedfromHealthStudiesstudentsor1 st /2nd yearNursingstudents.
