Members of Aarti Foundation giving check to American Red Cross Society In 2010, Haiti & Chile had major earthquakes which caused vast  destruction, killed many people and left tens of thousands of people  without food, water, clothing and shelter. Aarti Foundation donated funds to the American Red Cross for Haiti earthquake victims.

Aarti Foundation is a federally tax-exempt, not for profit organization. It was formed in September 2001 in Queens, New York York by 25 close friends fri ends and families for the purpose p urpose of helping the less fortunate people of the United States and India. We also help the victims of natural disasters. Aarti Foundation has been collecting used clothes since April 2003. In June 2008, we sent 13,500 pounds of used clothes to India. We are also actively helping private charitable organizations in the U.S. and India by donating food and money to carry out their projects. We We cannot continue to do this work wor k without your help. You You have helped us for the past seven years and we are very confident that you will do the same each year. The following is a list of organizations and projects we plan to work with in years 2010-2011: Akhand Jyot Foundation – Ahmedabad, India:

Providing tuition fees, books and school supplies to the children from poor areas – Cost $50.00 / child / year. Providing food, clothes, medicines and vocational training to “street” children – Cost $75.00 / child / year. Hospital attendant’s vocational course for girls – Cost $50.00 / trainee / course. Vikas Gruh for orphan girls – Cost $5.00 each for books. Interfaith Nutrition Network (INN) – Hempstead, NY:

Aarti Foundation donates food items to INN for homeless people during Thanksgiving and Christmas day. If you wish, you can donate a specific specifi c sum of money for this purpose. AIDS Combat International (ACI) - Mumbai, India:

AIDS Awareness Awareness - Cost of Educating one person – $1.00 Education for one infected child – Cost $190.00 / year Veerayatan - Bihar, India:
