dear friends of the advocates... Dear Friends of The Advocates:

On behalf of The Advocates board, staff, volunteers and clients, thank you for your heartfelt and much needed support of our mission to prevent domestic violence and sexual assault through education, shelter and services. The demand for our life-saving services skyrocketed in 2009 as more people faced the tumultuous and unprecedented economic and social upheaval. Shelter staff worked tirelessly to address the staggering increase in services needed by women and children in our community, all of whom are desperately seeking to leave behind life-threatening circumstances.
