The team needed to locate and seal air leaks in the floor and perimeter area, so temperatures could be controlled more easily and accurately. THE SOLUTION The project added load to existing infra structure. As a result, McKenney’s devised a comprehensive “Method of Procedure” script—which included contingency plans with redundant cooling in critical areas—
to ensure the renovation wouldn’t adversely affect other floors or systems. The McKenney’s team worked closely with the general contractor and many subcontractors to search for and repair leaks in the floor, around the perimeter and in elevator shafts. THE RESULTS All critical facilities systems are operating as designed. The system is maintaining static pressure and temperature accurately.
