Identified, i nitiated, and implemented process improvements to contain costs. Migrated accounting functions. Toronto satellite did not comply with GAAP regula tions. Resolved cultural differences and worked closely with Canadian vendors to receive electronic fund transfers. Overcame challenges to get US banks to make payments in Canadian funds, including correct currency conversion rate. Moved op erations to Denver location, saving $500K in G&A expenses.
