Article on Structural Unemployment

Summary:

Structural unemployment rate rises in Malaysia. The present of foreign workers makes the local
workers unemployment. This is because the skills of working that our local citizen have. More
over the phenomenon is imbalances between the skills and other characteristic of workers in the
market and the needs of employers. In this case unemployment workers lack of the specific skills
required for the job. So, the government can mitigate the problem by providing an infrastucture
that offers training, so that the demand of these job can be met. The Minister of Education and
the Minister of Higher Education plans 2 upgrade the training n courses in Vocational school ,
colleges and university so that the graduate can appoint to a job n work easily with the training
that are given in their study time in institution. So, from this, the government can achieve the full
employment in this country.

Article on Seasonal Unemployment

Summary:
Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), seasonal unemployment rises day by day. In May its in 3.4%
compared to April which was 3% and 3% too a year ago. This is because of the school leavers
and part time job. Aftr the students in their semester break or maybe after examination, while
waiting for result, so the unemployment rate will decrease because they will be going for job.
The Labour Forces Survey uses the age limit of 15 to 64 years to measure the economically
active population.
