Tommy Yawn

I know very little when it comes to the culture of the deaf community, and this quiz definitely confirmed that. I learned a few minor things from the quiz, like walking between two people signing isn't quite as rude as it may sound, and watching people signing is the equivalent of eavesdropping, even if you can't understand them. I learned a large deal in class even though I wasn't present when the majority of the questions were answered, and am eager to learn even more. I was always intrigued with sign language even at a young age, but never had the proper tools or instructions to learn much. Coming into this class, I only knew the very basics of !", such as knowing facial e#pressions and body language were just as important as the hands, however I know ne#t to nothing about the grammar and sentence structure of !", and I only know the signs for a few words. In conclusion, I hope to further my understanding of sign language and the culture along with it.
