INTRODUCTION
• A fully automatic weapon (a machine gun) is one that fires a succession of bullets. • Any weapon that shoots, is designed to shoot, or can be readily restored to shoot automatically. • A machine gun can normally fire between 400 and 1,000 rounds (bullets) per minute, or between 7 and 17 rounds per second.

TECHNOLOGY USED:
• “Microcontroller with passive infrared sensor(PIR)” • FEATURES • Operating voltage: 2.4V~12V • Low power and high noise immunity CMOS technology • Capable of decoding 12 bits of information • Build –in oscillator needs only 5% resistor
Type of sensor
• Passive infrared sensors (Passive) • Ultrasonic (active) • Microwave (active) • Tomographic Detector (active)
Objective
• A motion detector may be connected to a burglar alarm that is used to alert the home owner or security service after it detects motion. • detector may also trigger a red light camera or outdoor lighting.

P.I motion detector
• An electronic motion detector contains a motion sensor that transforms the detection of motion into an electric signal
• Range of motion detector- 15–25 meters (50– 80 feet). • The infrared radiation emitted by humans (9.4 micrometres being the strongest).
Sensor coverage area:
• The standard sensor coverage area is approximately conical in shape and is broken up into zones - see below for a top view of coverage area
