The project deals with the design of an automatic LPG gas sensor,
which can detect the liquefied petroleum gas. The project has been designed
using the micro controller. The project has its own accuracy and has its
timing control. We can implement this project in home, industries, hotels,
where the need to protect the gas exposure. n future we can automatically

The aim of the project is to first sense the traffic density and based on
that we control the traffic. This completely replaces the con"entional traffic
light control system. .ecause the time delay for each direction is fixed in
normally a"ailable traffic control systems. There is no option in the circuit to
increase the time delay based on the traffic conditions. .ut in our project we

&ecurity is a major aspect in offices and control rooms. *ot enter into
these restricted areas. /lso documents and other important files should be
protected from fire and illegal users. hence it is necessary to pro"ide a
security system in such places for safety purpose. #ur project aims at
pro"iding such a security system. The circuit consist of fire, heat, door open
8 loc!ed open sense circuit. The heat sensing circuit is sensed by thermister.
When e"er heat is sensed the alarm is acti"ated. The entering of un!nown
person is sensed by the door open with the help of limit switch. the fire is
sensed by the L+% . these all other sensed out puts are input to the
microcontroller and acti"ate the bu00er. The security of the office is ensured.

tries to use in the abo"e9mentioned places. We find a solution for that is we detect the

energy consumed in particular load through an analog energy
meter and to cut off the total power supplied to a particular load on
prepay basis. .ecause if we !now the importance and the cost of
energy production we will be definitely be aware of consuming
power in a limited way. This prepaid scheme can be implemented
in the places li!e marriage halls, lodges and hotel and e"en in
offices where the supply will be cut off based on the timing and the
amount of energy consumed. The purpose of this project is to
a"oid the on spot billing for power consumption and a post pay
scheme. &o we propose a technique to measure the same energy

meter is drilled at a corner of the rotating disc. Then through this
