‡ Go straight to the point ‡ Be precise and exact about the offence ‡ Be patient ‡ Avoid unnecessary arguments with employee

‡ Allow the employee to state his case fully ‡ Don·t accept justifications or excuses ‡ Make it clear that, it is to help the employee

AFTER THE INTERVIEW
‡ Watch the employee ‡ Analyse whether the interview is useful or not
