Become a writer ? The method, in a nutshell
1. Dare write. As writing proceeds of dream and fantasy , inhibition may be
waiting for you . Go beyond , have the nerve to live and write .
2 . Write from your experience. Do not be afraid immodesty . Take risks . Ride the
dragon.
3 . Find yourself readers . Write with others. Follow writing workshops . Find
your friends favorable.
. 4 Read good writers - others too. For fun and to understand how this is done.
Recourez constraints ( Oulipian or not ) . 5. Use them to surprise and overcome
moments of failure.
You Organize 6 . . Have your writing room , your shelters. Locate your personal
rhythms. Protect your time.
7 . Do not wait for inspiration. Write regularly, even when it resists. Work .
8. Find energy onto the target . Dig into your passions, your shame , your
obsessions. Unfold your voice, then work it up to the smallest point .
9. Tame the developer composition. Become an expert on the germination of the
idea first to editorial proofreading .
10. Really write , do not write . Do not imitate yourself. Do recourez established
genres for learning.
11. Be humble and proud at the same time . You write after many others ,
climbing on their shoulders. But (re) starts with you.
12. Know what you're willing sacrifice . Purity, time or money ? If you do not
compromise , you have nothing .
13. Aim unknown drive with caution. Attend lectures , meetings . Send your
submissions to magazines , contests . Explore Collections where you dream of
being published . Do not water publishers . Remember : writing is that there are
better in writing.
