Cassidy Lyons works for the FBI. She is not an agent yet but she has high hopes. She is sent to gather information in a small town in the deep South were something terrible seems to be happening. People are missing by the dozens and no one seems to have any answers.
Eager to make a good impression on her supportive Lieutenant and anxious to uncover the truth Cassidy begin to snoop around in Caimbridge County and seems to be meeting a lot of resistance from the local authorities. The only one who wants to cooperate is the local Doctor, Dr. Donald Monroe, an aging family practitioner. Cassidy soon discovers that the good doctor however is not at all who he seems.
Cassidy is not the only one who has their eyes on the Doctor. Terry Carson is a veteran of the Gulf War who is missing his only brother Jesse. Jesse is the last of the line of the Carson men because Terry suffered an injury in the war leaving him unable to have children. He is determined to find his missing teenage brother and his search also leads him to the sinister Doctor Monroe.
Cassidy soon finds herself the prisoner of Dr. Monroe and is horrified to see first hand his terrible plot for revenge against humanity. Unable to free herself and fearful of certain doom Cassidy learns what happened to all of the missing people and is on the brink of the same horrible fate herself. Victimized by humiliating experiment by the Doctor and taunted by the Doctor’s chemically altered crony’s, Cassidy’s only hope is for a rescue.
Enter Agent Brody. He is sent to find the missing Cassidy and seems to have a personal reason also to locate the beautiful missing woman. He meets Terry Carson in a violent fight in Cassidy’s vacant hotel room but the two soon resolve their differences when they together realize the urgency to stop the Doctor’s evil plan to unleash his army of Chemically Enhanced Soldiers on the County of Caimbridge.
The fates of thousands of lives are at stake and each man also with a strong personal reason to fight realize that they alone must try to stop the plan which is already in effect.
They both prepare to fight to the death for what they love as they confront Dr. Monroe and his supercharged Army to save Cassidy, Jesse, and thousands of others.
There are sacrifices that must be made and not everyone will make it through this battle. We learn that the Primal urge to survive and protect exist in all men and men do not need a chemical injection to feel it. Man himself is the perfect killing machine, the Doctor once tried to prove and in his death at the hands of his own creation, he realizes that he was right.
