The study was conducted at Big Bazaar in Bangalore.

Product Offered Big Bazaar offers a wide range of products which range from apparels, food, farm products, furniture, child care, toys etc.

Pricing objective of Big Bazaar The pricing objective Big bazaar is to get maximum market share.

Place Big Bazaar stores are located in 50 cities with 75 outlets.

Promotion Promotional techniques of Big Bazaar are: y Sal Ke Sabse Sasthe Teen Din y Future card (the card offers 3% discount) Brand endorsement by M S Dhoni, Asin, Hema Malini Exchange Offer: Junk Swap Offer etc.

Employee: Well trained and dressed staff. They are motivated to think out of box.

Process: Multiple counters with trolley to carry the items purchased. Proper display/ posters of place like Dal, Soap etc.

Physical Evidence: It deals with the final deliverable or the display of written facts. This includes the current system and available facilities.

As per the study conducted at Banashankari Big Bazaar: Average sales of the week is 1 crore 20 lacks, out of which 60% week days 40% week ends Out of the total sales Food Bazaar has maximum contribution of 37%. Peak purchase Week days: - Peak purchase happens in the evening, i.e. after 6pm Weekends: From morning till 1:30 & in the evening after 6pm. Supply Chain Management(SCM): To know exact demand of the product they have system called ARS(Alternate Refreshment System) with the help of which supplier sends stock at regular intervals. Offers at Big Bazaar y No offerings are made in new products. (Offers applicable for products 1 or 2 month old) y Offerings on season like Autumn, winter, spring, summer & festival.
