! Look, I know that right now the magazines are out there selling every kind of pill, supplement, and radical diet solution on Earth to you to take advantage of this desire we all have to be “skinny”... ! But I’ve got a BETTER IDEA...

! Let’s use this desire to lose a few pounds, not as some excuse to buy the latest diet, but as a JUMP START to a better way of living. ! I know that sounds hard. But it’s NOT. If you let me take you by the hand and lead you through this process you’ll see it’s much EASIER than being on a diet (again), and much, MUCH more enjoyable than the way you were living before. ! Even I forget that sometimes...

! Like I said, I have been just overwhelmed by the response that I’ve gotten since I announced the launch of this new program, and I’ve been putting in insane hours, and I’ve even missed quite a few of my beloved yoga practices (and if you knew me well, you’d know that I don’t miss yoga for ANYONE). ! In the middle of all of this, my boyfriend made, what in retrospect was a pretty innocent comment about the amount of food on my plate. #1. Lower Your Stress-Hormone Production
! ! Did you know that stress causes belly fat? Let me explain…

! Most people don’t play an active role in eliminating stress from their lives on a daily basis. It builds up and builds up, until our bodies start to fall apart on the inside. ! Our bodies were never designed to handle the amount of continuous stress that the modern life produces. The stress system or “fight or flight response” was designed to be activated RARELY when we were truly in danger and needed to either fight or run for our life. ! For thousands of years, the stress system was only activated when our life was truly in danger, not on a DAILY basis like it is today. And when the stress system is activated, LOTS of bad things happen… ! The body thinks, “I’m in danger!” even if you’re only stressed out about a tra#c jam or you’re running late for something… your body doesn’t KNOW that it’s truly not life-threatening. And your body reacts in the same way as if you needed to save your life RIGHT NOW. There is a surge of powerful hormones that are released when your stress system is activated. One of these hormones is called cortisol. And if you’re under constant stress throughout your day, you’re producing LOTS of cortisol. Cortisol is a great thing when it’s doing what it was designed to do. It reduced inflammation from wounds when you’re injured, and it also

helps you wake up in the morning when you have something important to do. But when your adrenal glands (the glands located above your kidneys that secrete cortisol) are running day and night from continuous stress without any breaks, the cortisol levels in your blood can become DANGEROUS. Cortisol is the prime suspect for why couples that have been together for many years often die so closely together. The stress from the death of a life partner sends cortisol levels sky-rocketing. Why is this bad for your belly fat? Well, your belly fat is a “special” kind of fat on your body. It is chemically di"erent from the rest of your fat and, as many doctors have discovered, the type of triglycerides (chemicals composed primarily of simple fats) in belly fat are the very worst for your heart and cardiovascular system... And here’s another way that belly fat is di"erent...it has lots of receptors for cortisol (where cortisol is re-absorbed). And if you’re producing cortisol all day long… then you’re going to need A LOT of belly fat to re-absorb all of that cortisol. See how that works? The more stress you have, the more cortisol you produce and the more belly fat you need to absorb all of that cortisol you’re constantly making throughout the day. #2. Wake-UP Your Core Awareness
! Did you know that your abdominal muscles stabilize your entire body? ! I had heard about the “core” of the body before, but I never really understand how to use it. For years I struggled doing sit-ups, crunches, and exercises to lose my belly fat but it would never go away. ! I realize now, it was because the core of my body – the abdominal muscles and small supportive muscles protecting your spine and internal organs – was dead! Now, I don’t mean literally dead… but there was no life… I had no core “awareness”. ! I look back at photos of me and the way I’m standing or sitting… I can see that there is no awareness and I’m just letting my core hang out all over the place. No wonder I could never lose the tummy pooch! ! And it doesn’t matter if you do a thousands sit-ups or crunches, if you move through life with a “dead” core, you will never have the flat stomach that you desire. ! But the good news is once your core is “awakened”, it stays alive and activated every day, all day long. You won’t have to dedicate hours in the gym to tone up your tummy because you will be toning it and strengthening it all the time. ! And having a strong core “awareness” is a BIG key to having great posture.

! If your mother ever told you to straighten up in your chair and sit up straight because it’s good for you.. well, she was right. ! If you are used to be slouching couch potato, good posture is hard work at first. In other words... it’s exercise. Exercise you can be doing all day long to strengthen and tone those muscles so that your abdominal wall is trained to hold your tummy in. ! At first, maintaining good posture is hard to remember and it can be exhausting. You might even have sore muscles from it the next morning... but that soreness is a GOOD thing. It means that you are building those muscles! ! And the muscles of the core respond faster than almost any other muscle group to conditioning, so you’ll see REAL changes very quickly. ! There are some really powerful core “awareness” exercises that you should learn and start practicing all the time... very soon it will become your new habit and slouching will feel horrible.

#3. Cut Out MSG
! MSG stands for monosodium glutamate and is used as a “flavor enhancer” in processed foods. MSG is a salt of glutamic acid (an amino acid) and it excites your nervous system when you eat it. This is what makes the flavors in the food more “exciting” when you eat them. ! If you’ve been reading my free newsletters, then you already know the importance of The 3-C Rule: Count Chemicals, Not Calories. ! There are growing mountains of evidence that it is the chemicals in our diets that are making us fatter than our grandparents’ generation. ! Why?

! Well, there are a lot of theories, from mild allergic reactions to these artificial ingredients, to the way some of these chemicals may be a"ecting our hormones or even the way our genetic code is expressed.

! But there is no doubt that the ability of some of these chemicals to make foods with zero nutritional value taste delicious (or even addictive), is a big part of it. ! MSG plays a big role in that process.

! There is a lot of evidence supporting that MSG is a poisonous compound and causes a lot of harm, but that has not stopped the commercial food industry from putting it in everything they can. After all, they want their foods to taste really good so you’ll want to eat a lot of it, buy some more, and then eat a lot of it again. And MSG makes even the worst tasting food “exciting”. ! But because it is a highly concentrated salt, MSG causes you to store water giving you that “poofy belly” around your middle. If high concentrations of MSG are in your diet, it’s unlikely you will ever see a truly flat stomach. ! Don’t Be Fooled...

! You need to be aware that the processed food manufacturers disguise MSG by listing it under other names. Here are some of the other “code names” for MSG: Monopotassium glutamate hydrolyzed vegetable protein hydrolyzed plant protein gelatin

If you see any of these listed in the ingredients, don’t eat that food. And you will be on the path of getting that flat belly.

#4. Eat Foods With Omega-3 Fatty Acids
! I know this may sound counter-intuitive, but there are fats that actually help eliminate belly fat from your body. They’re called Omega-3s and as strange as it may sound, eating more of these “good” fats has been proven to reduce your body fat, including belly fat.

! There is also evidence that shows that eating omega-3 fats can reduce the output of another stress hormone, epinephrine (aka adrenaline). And you’ll remember from Tip #1 that anything that can help with eliminating the stress response is a VERY good thing. ! As it turns out, epinephrine is produced by the same gland that produces cortisol... the adrenal glands. Getting them operating back in their normal zone is a very good thing. ! Balancing your hormones and the glands that produce them is a BIG part of bringing your internal universe back to balance. And this is what I’m talking about when I say we’re working on the INSIDE first and then the outside will change. ! Your outside is a reflection of what’s going on INSIDE of you. First we change the inside, then the outside will catch up. ! That’s why nutrition and the choices you make for food are SO important. Everything you eat becomes a part of you. You are giving your body the fuel for energy and the building blocks for new cells. ! ! ! ! And eating lots of Omega-3s is a great way to do it.

And if you don’t like fish, try these: flaxseed walnuts almonds

Organic, free-range meats also contain much more omega-3s than their industrial produced, corn-fed brothers. If you needed another reason to eat organic... there you go.

Eating a diet high in Omega-3s has also been shown to improve cardiovascular health and it’s been well known for years that it can improve BRAIN health. Who doesn’t want a healthier brain, right? If you really don’t like fish and flax seeds, don’t worry, you can also buy highly purified fish oil in health food stores that is completely tasteless... you’ll never know it’s not canola oil and you’ll be getting those good omega-3s in every bite of your next salad. Can you say, “pass the salmon, please!”

#5. Try Eliminating Wheat Products

! Millions of women have a wheat allergy and don’t know it. It’s not easy to recognize because this allergy is really more like a “food sensitivity” that can go unrecognized if you don’t pay attention. ! Some symptoms of a wheat allergy include: digestive issues bloating depression anxiety low energy headaches intense cravings for wheat products

So when you eat anything with wheat in it, pay special attention to how you feel an hour after you eat it, and then watch closely over the next few days for any of these symptoms that may appear. Of course, for many people, this is impossible because they eat wheat with virtually every meal and they are never really free of these symptoms... they think that things like bloating, headaches, depression, and low energy are just... normal.

! I have a wheat allergy. And when I eat wheat, I have some or all of these symptoms for about 3 days. I was shocked when I realized that all these years, that the belly bloat that I always hated was a reaction from eating foods I was allergic to. ! If you’re thinking, “But I could never cut out wheat!”… Hey, I understand. I was there once too. But now that I am free from my wheat addiction, I really don’t crave it at all anymore. ! I know that if I do eat food with wheat in it, then I’m going to be bloated, tired, crabby and foggy-headed for about 3 days afterwards. That’s a high enough price to keep me away. ! Now, I’m not going to say I NEVER eat wheat anymore… I do cheat every once in a while, but in my day-to-day life, I have learned how to eat 6 delicious, filling meals a day without activating my wheat allergy. ! Do YOU have a wheat allergy?

! Let me give you one more story before I answer that. My dear friend, Adam, lost 70 pounds when he discovered his wheat allergy and cut it out of his diet. And that was BEFORE he started any kind of exercise program or substantially altered anything else in his diet. ! Of course, that doesn’t mean you’ll get the same results... but it does get you thinking, doesn’t it? ! Another friend of mine who is one of the smartest bio-chemists and nutritional consultants that I know says that he believes that as many as 40% of the people alive today have a wheat allergy... and that probably EVERYBODY has some degree of sensitivity to it, though for some people it is unnoticeably minor. ! ! So, back to that question: Do YOU have a wheat allergy? I don’t know.

! But I do believe that this is a powerful enough issue for you to find out for yourself. Try cutting wheat out of your diet for just 2 weeks. ! ! See how you feel. Then try re-introducing it in just one meal and see what happens.

! If you don’t notice a dramatic di"erence, then think of it as an experiment. But if you’re like me, the results will speak for very clearly for themselves... and you’ll be VERY grateful to be wheat-free.

#6. Enjoy Some Miso Soup
! ! I know, I know, I said 5 tips... and this is 6... so we’ll just call it a little bonus ;) ! I love miso soup, those little cups of soy-based broth that they serve in japanese restaurants. And it turns out that miso soup loves me back by burning belly fat! ! But it’s not the miso... it’s the seaweed they use to flavor miso called wakame (also known by the very un-delicious sounding name of “brown seaweed”). ! First of all, I want to mention that ALL the sea vegetables are extremely healthy, and loaded with the best nutrients your body craves for optimal health and energy. From kombu to nori, they are all great for your body and they are delicious too! ! But wakame, the seaweed in miso soup has a special bonus that scientists have just recently discovered. ! I told you earlier in this report that belly fat is chemically di"erent from the other fat in your body. Your body treats it di"erently, stores it di"erently, and uses it di"erently. And, as it turns out, something in wakame causes your body to more readily burn the belly fat! ! On the island of Okinawa where they enjoy one of the lowest percentages of obesity in the world and where they very much enjoy the very highest life-span they eat wakame and miso soup every day, and usually more than once.

! So enjoy a bowl of miso soup whenever you have a chance, and buy wakame at a health food store of asian food market. ! Add a bit to some of your own recipes or bake it in the oven until it’s crispy and browned and make your own crunchy sea-chips. They are surprisingly good!

! Let’s take a look at how far we’ve come.

! Between the video and this Strategy Guide I’ve given you 9 great tips that you can start using right now... TODAY... to start blasting your belly fat and seeing results. ! ! But there’s one more thing I have to tell you, and it’s the most important thing of all...

The One Thing You HAVE To Get Right
! ! I don’t want to scare you o", but there is one more thing that you must know before you get started with ANY of this, because if you get this one thing wrong, I can guarantee, you will not lose the weight you want, you won’t keep o" what you do lose, and you will NOT enjoy the process. ! But the good news is, if you DO get this part right, not only will you get the results you want, you will ENJOY the process and you will enjoy the lifestyle that gets you those results MORE than the lifestyle that packed the extra pounds onto you in the first place. ! As I mentioned earlier in this report, there is one phrase that when someone says it to me, I know that they’re going to fail at losing weight. ! “I’m on a diet”.

! I call it “The Failure Phrase” because it happened to me SO many times... and I’ve seen it happen to countless of other people too. ! Because “diets” are a battle against fat.

! Sun Tzu, the famous military genius that every modern general studies once said that NOBODY wins a battle. The cost is too great. ! In every battle, there is no “winning”. There are only losers, and a battle that never truly ends because it will only create MORE battles in the future. ! You can’t accomplish what you want by going to war with your body. When you arm yourself for battle, your body will feel attacked and will fight back out of it’s own defense.

If you find that giving love to your body is hard, then focus on this AMAZING journey you are on right now. ! ! ! You are growing into health. Every day. With every breath.
