2012 BUSINESS OUTLOOK
15
One of the first things that
captures your attention after walk-
ing into Lawing Marble's show-
room is a bible verse.
Prominently displayed on a back
wall, the scripture reads, "For we
walk by faith, not be sight." II
Corinthians 5:7.
Candance Heavner, owner of
Lawing Marble, says its place of
prominence reflects its place of
importance in her life.
Having served the Lincoln
County community and surround-
ing counties since 1976, Lawing
Marble is a family oriented busi-
ness with family values. We
appreciate all the loyalty from our
customers and the kindness the
community has shown by referring
our company for home decorating
needs.
Lawing Marble, for 2012, is
determined to strive to make
customer service their number one
priority. We like for a customer to
come in and feel like they enter our
building as a guest, but leave with
a sense of friendship.
The new showroom, located on
Highway 27 East, offers displays
of cabinetry made by local crafts-
man that are topped with a variety
of fixtures made by Lawing
Marble, Inc. In an effort to always
stay current, we are constantly
trying to keep the showroom
stocked with a variety of products
for every budget available. Con-
stantly, we are being offered new
product lines, as well as new
displays, because everyone wants
to be part of this new showroom.
Lawing Marble is more than happy
to provide this showroom to the
community and surrounding com-
munities as well.
Lawing Marble offers a wide
variety of products within the
cultured marble line which include
vanity tops with integrated sinks,
beautiful showers, and tubs. We
also can provide custom orders
such as fireplace surrounds, furni-
ture toppers, etc. We would like to
invite you to glance at
www.lawingmarble.com to visit
our website as well as see a short
video of what we have to offer.
Lawing Marble also has, for the
last 15 years, offered Granite and
Quartz for their customers to beau-
tify their kitchens and baths alike if
they so desire.
We would like to invite you to
come by and just visit this beauti-
ful new facility that Candance says
would never have been possible if
it had not been for the help of so
many people within the realm of
her business entrepreneurs. From
my insurance agent, banker,
contractors, and vendor friends I
could never say enough "Thanks"
for giving Lawing Marble a second
breath!
Lawing Marble would like to
wish the Lincoln County commu-
nity a "Happy New Year." May
you truly be blessed and always
put faith first in your daily walk of
life...It truly is what makes life
worth living!
For more information, please
visit our office, located at 3866
East Highway 27, Iron Station,
N.C., or our website. You can also
call Monday through Thursday
from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday 8
a.m. to 12 p.m. at 704-732-0360
with any questions.

2012 BUSINESS OUTLOOK
LTN76275-012712
I am proud to report to you that
2011 has been another good year
for the Lincolnton-Lincoln County
Chamber of Commerce. On Tues-
day, December 13, 2011, I report-
ed to our Board of Directors that
our Chamber membership is now
at 675 members and our excellent
sales team of Shirley Smith and
Jennifer Weber have signed up 114
new members this year.
We also conducted 34 grand
openings for new and expanding
businesses in Lincolnton and Lin-
coln County. And, just in case you
missed it in our most recent news-
letter, the Chamber's Board of Di-
rectors also approved a budget for
2012 with no dues increase.
In 2012, we will continue to be a
very active Chamber. We will con-
tinue offering many networking
opportunities in which to promote
your business. We will continue to
serve as the City of Lincolnton's
and Lincoln County's Visitors In-
formation Center as well. And as
always, the Chamber will continue
to work with new businesses want-
ing to locate in our community.
Currently, the Chamber is put-
ting the final touches on our 2012
Program of Work. If you are
called on to serve as a committee
chair or committee member, I hope
you will agree to serve. Commit-
tees that need your help include the
Business Expo Committee, Promo-
tions Committee, Education Com-
mittee, Ambassadors Committee,
Golf Outing Committee, and An-
nual Banquet Committee.
All of these committees are in-
strumental in helping the Chamber
promote our community's quality
of life and economic well being.
They are also instrumental in help-
ing the Chamber produce opera-
tional income through events they
organize such as the Adult Spelling
Bee, Spring Golf Outing, and Busi-
ness Expo.
If you or any of your employees
would like to volunteer to serve
on a Chamber Committee in 2012,
please contact the Chamber's staff
at 704-735-3096. We look forward
to hearing from you and let's work
together to have a great year in
2012!

2012 BUSINESS OUTLOOK
2012 Business Outlook
Backyard Buddies is
making some exciting
changes. We are so excited to
have joined forces with
Jannette Huggins known to
many of you as the proprietor
of “From the Ground Up.
Jannette brings a wealth of
knowledge and ideas and
many years in the garden
center business. I have
always wanted to include the
flower portion of attracting
birds – so this is a match made
in Heaven. This spring we
will have flowers and plants
for attracting hummingbirds,
butterflies and birds as well
succulents, annuals and
perennials by the dozens.
Jannette has always offered
the happiest and healthiest
plants around. Having
Jannette closer to town will
make all her wonderful items
more accessible. We’ll have
ready made pots in all shapes
and sizes for you to place in
your yard and attract wildlife.
We will still have all of the
superior items you’ve come to
expect from Backyard
Buddies, birdseed, suet, feed-
ers, houses etc.
During the winter months
birds are looking to us for
food. Be sure to keep your
feeders full. Black-oil
Sunflower Seed, Safflower
(especially those of you with
squirrels) and Suet are some
of the most winter-friendly
foods you can offer. Every
year we get many of the same
questions about attracting
birds to feeders. Usually the
first thing I ask someone who
is putting out seed but not
getting many takers is what
kind of seed are you feeding.
Many “wild-bird” mixes are
full of stuff birds won’t eat.
Get some good seed and try
again and then keep a supply
of good seed available.
Another thing to consider is
placement of your feeders. A
bird feeder (or bird bath) in
the middle of a lawn will not
attract many birds because
they do not feel safe. Place
your feeders within easy
reach of natural cover for a
quick exit if they feel threat-
ened by predators. How can I
keep squirrels off my feeders
is another often asked ques-
tion. Safflower seed is a
favorite of many birds while
squirrels don’t like it. Try
adding hot pepper soaked
sunflower seeds to attract
even more birds. Birds do not
mind the hot pepper taste but
squirrels cannot tolerate it. If
you have your feeders on
poles or Sheppard’s hooks
and the squirrels are getting to
them by climbing the pole –
you can easily add a baffle to
keep the squirrels out.
Soon we will be sending
out notices for our 3rd
annual-Hummingbird semi-
nar. This year’s seminar
promises many, many new
ideas such as a line of hum-
mingbird feeders made exclu-
sively for BYB-FTGU and we
will also have all the informa-
tion and plants you need to
attract springs most attractive
wildlife. Jannette and I
invite you to come visit our
new store located at 2547 E.
Main Street in Lincolnton We
are located in the same center
Backyard Buddies has been in
for the past 2 years. We look
forward to seeing you soon.
Kathy.

West Lincoln Veterinary
Hospital opened April 2011 at
4393 West NC Hwy 27 in
Vale. It is near the intersec-
tion of Shoal/Cat Square Rd
and Hwy 27 close to West
Lincoln High School. WLVH
is a full service small animal
hospital offering wellness
checks, preventative and
routine care, as well as sick
patient diagnostics and treat-
ments. The new facility is
equipped with an x-ray, state
of the art ultrasonic dental
machine, and a modern
surgery suite.
Owner, Dr. Crystal
Mitchem has been a veterinar-
ian in Lincoln, Cleveland, and
Catawba counties for 13
years. Dr. Mitchem devel-
oped a love for animals grow-
ing up on a tobacco and beef
cattle farm in Wilson County
NC. Summers were spent
doing 4-H projects revolving
around raising and showing
beef cattle. “My parents
never said no to any animal
big or small that I could catch
or bring home to raise” says
Dr. Mitchem. “I love the
animals, but I also love the
interaction with the pet
owners.” “Every pet and
owner have a story of how
they came to be together and
what they mean to each
other.” “It is these stories that
make my job so special and
motivate me to try to help
every pet I see,” said Dr.
Mitchem. “The patients I
treat are not just dogs and
cats, but part of peoples’
family.”
Dr. Mitchem received a
bachelor’s degree in animal
science from North Carolina
State University in 1993 and a
master’s degree in animal
science specializing in repro-
ductive physiology from the
University of Missouri in
Columbia in 1995. She
graduated from NCSU
College of Veterinary Medi-
cine in 1999.
WLVH’s mission is “to

one of the few agencies in this area
that you still receive the Home-
town feel when you walk in to the
agency. You will always have the
one on one attention from our
agents regardless of if you are
getting a quote, making a payment,
filing a claim or stopping to say
“hello.” We strive to have great
customer service and be person-
able to each and every one of you
that stops in. Many of our custom-

and say they do not look to move
their business anywhere else
because of the service they receive
here at our office.

Stephens Optimist of Hickory,
volunteering in the concession
stand and coaching, while their
children also play many sports
throughout the year, including
football, baseball and basketball.
Our agency recently accepted a
new company with many options

ably familiar with AFLAC (the
duck) and we would like to offer
you a free NO obligation quote, if
you come in for a quote we will
give you a small appreciation
AFLAC gift of your choice. Also,
we would like to mention to our
current customers we will be start-
ing a referral promotion beginning
1/30/12 that will run through
4/1/12. If you refer someone to our
office and we quote them, your
name will be entered once, if we
write their coverage, your name
will be entered twice for a brand
new Kindle Fire.
We look forward to talking with
you soon!

2012 BUSINESS OUTLOOK
2012 Business Outlook
The reason Turner Insurance
Group, Inc. exists is to serve the
people of Lincoln and surrounding
counties. As of Jan 1, 2012, we have
begun our 12th year in business and
we owe it all to God and our clients.
Due to the faith and trust of the
people in our ability to meet their
insurance needs, we have grown
tremendously in 11 years. We have
built our business with satisfied
clients referring their friends to us.
We strive to distinguish ourselves
from competitors by giving “above
and beyond” service to every
customer and find that we make
friends in the process. Often our
“friends” just stop by to say hello
and chat awhile. We feel really good
that our clients feel that comfortable
with us and we consider them
“family.”
The staff of Turner Insurance
Group, Inc. is Jeff Turner- founder,
Phyllis Turner, Jamie Houser, and
Keith Devine. We are conveniently
located at 333-c East Main St.
(across the street from the US Post
Office) in downtown Lincolnton.
When I got the idea to start Turner
Insurance Group, Inc. I looked at
various insurance companies to be
associated with. I chose the Erie
Insurance Group as my “flagship”
carrier. They had the same mission I
had. Erie’s founding principle is “to
provide our policyholders with as
near perfect service as is humanly
possible and do so at the lowest
possible cost.” I felt comfortable
with Erie and they felt comfortable
with me. We the staff and our clients
have found their principle to be true
over 11 years.
Erie is a full line company provid-
ing personal lines (auto, home,
boat,etc.), business insurance, and a
portfolio of financial need products
(life insurance, annuities, and IRA’s.)
We have added other carriers to our
portfolio over the years but Erie still
accounts for over 90% of our busi-
ness.
Our mission at Turner Insurance
Group, Inc. is simply to meet our
clients total insurance needs. People
generally know the value of home
and auto insurance but they often
forget that they are the “money
machine” and if they are not there to
pay the bills, their family will go
lacking.
I can’t emphasize enough the
proper planning for life’s “unex-
pected” through life insurance and
systematic savings plans like annui-
ties and IRA’s.
The year 2011 was a tough one in
the insurance industry with all the
catastrophes around the nation
including at least 3 severe storms in
Lincoln County (two in April and the
famous one in Sept. that blew the
massive oak tree over on the post
office.) We paid out of this agency
far more than we took in premiums
in 2011. That is why an insurance
agency and company exists, to make
a person whole after they have had a
legitimate loss.
I visited many clients after the
April storms (some had massive
losses) and I observed as adjusters
caringly advised and paid my clients
for their damages. I remember my
friends and clients Charlie and Jill
Tipton had a massive tree fall on
their home in one of the storms. The
Erie adjuster just told them to get
contractors to take care of the
damage and to forward the bills to
Erie. I spent several trips to their
home in the repair process and had
numerous phone conversations with
them about the steps to take getting
their home repaired. They were
extremely pleased that Erie treated
them with compassion and respect
and met their needs so willingly. I
lost a true friend when later in 2011
Charlie went from his newly
repaired home to his perfect heav-
enly home.
That sums up why we chose to
serve in the insurance industry. To
make people whole when they have a
legitimate loss and to make good
friends in the process is “as good as it
gets” this side of Heaven.
Stop by or give us a call at Turner
Insurance Group, Inc. and you’ll get
a friendly greeting, a warm smile,
and a free assessment of your insur-
ance package and whether you are
getting the coverage you need at the
lowest cost.

2012 BUSINESS OUTLOOK
Sound Imaging, the First in NC to Offer 3D Mammography
LINCOLNTON, NC
November, 2011 – Sound
Imaging is setting a new
standard for quality breast
care. Sound Imaging is the
very first in North Carolina
to offer 3-D breast tomosyn-
thesis mammography for
breast cancer screening.
This is 8% more sensitive in
the detection of cancer in
dense breasts, with fewer
call backs than conventional
digital mammography.
Tomosynthesis digital mam-
mography is also 4% more
senstive in the detection of
malignant calcifications in
dense breasts.
Breast tomosynthesis is a
revolutionary technology
approved by the FDA in
February 2011 that gives
radiologists the ability to
identify and characterize
individual breast structures
without the confusion of
overlapping tissue. During a
tomosynthesis exam,
multiple, low-dose images of
the breast are acquired at
different angles. These
images are then used to
produce a series of one-
millimeter thick slices that
can be viewed as a 3-D
reconstruction of the breast.
This in turn shows improved
cancer detection, fewer
unnecessary callbacks, and
enables clear detection of
some cancers that are not
visible on conventional 2-D
mammography.
There are more than 8,000
breast cancer screening sites
in the U.S. Nearly 5,000
have at least one digital
mammography system. Less
than 100 have installed this
newest generation of digital
mammography equipment.
By offering women the
latest technology in mam-
mography, Sound Imaging
hopes to increase the number
of area women who will be
routinely screened. Breast
cancer is the second leading
cause of cancer death among
women, exceeded only by
lung cancer. Statistics
indicate that one in eight
women will develop breast
cancer sometime in her
lifetime. The stage at which
breast cancer is detected
influences a woman’s chance
of survival. If detected early,
the five-year survival rate is
97 percent.
Sound Imaging is commit-
ted to the fight against breast
cancer. In offering 3-D
breast tomosynthesis digital
mammography, Sound Imag-
ing provides the latest in
imaging quality. If you
would like to schedule a
mammogram or have ques-
tions about this important
breast health procedure,
please contact Donna Noles
at 704-748-1300.
As the last independently
owned radiology practice in
Western North Carolina, we
are able to offer significant
cost savings to patients com-
pared to hospital owned or
affiliated radiology services,
sometimes by as much as
$1000 or more for MRIs and
CTs – even with insurance.
In addition to MRI, CT and
Mammography, Sound Imag-
ing also offers Bone Density,
X-Ray, and Ultrasound
services.
The primary mission of
Sound Imaging is to offer
high quality health care and
preventative medical care in
a caring and compassionate
manner to all people who
live in, work in or visit
Lincolnton and the Greater
Charlotte area. Sound Imag-
ing accepts most major
insurance carriers. Annual
screenings are free to Blue
Cross Blue Shield and State
Employee Blue Cross Blue
Shield patients. For further

2012 BUSINESS OUTLOOK
2012 Business Outlook
What does investment landscape look like in 2012?
As an investor, you know
that 2011 was a somewhat
“choppy” year, with the finan-
cial markets going through
many ups and downs. So what
can you expect in 2012?
As baseball Hall of Famer
Yogi Berra is quoted as saying:
“It’s hard to make predictions
— especially about the
future.” And these words are
certainly applicable for
anyone who would like an
accurate forecast of the invest-
ment climate.
Yet we do know of some
factors that may affect your
portfolio in the months ahead.
Here are a few of them:
· Strong business Iunda-
mentals — This past year, all
the noise about the debt ceiling
debate, the size of the U.S.
deficit and the European finan-
cial situation tended to drown
out some fairly good news:
U.S. businesses’ balance
sheets were strong for the most
part, borrowing costs
remained low, and corporate
profits were good — and
corporate profitability remains
a key driver of stock prices.
Heading into 2012, these
fundamentals continue to look
positive, which may bode well
for investors.
· Europe`s debt crisis
Greece’s economic problems
made a lot of news in 2011, but
they weren’t the end of the
story in Europe, as major
financial difficulties also face
Italy, Spain, Portugal and
Ireland. It’s by no means clear
how these problems will be
resolved, so don’t be surprised
to see them lead to intermit-
tent, if short-lived, shocks to
the markets.
· Election-year patterns
As you’re well aware, we’re
voting for president in 2012.
But you might be surprised to
learn that the S&P 500 index
has shown negative returns in
only three of the last 21 presi-
dential election years. Coinci-
dence? No one can say for sure
— and at this point, no one can
say if this pattern of positive
returns will continue during
this election year. Still, it’s an
interesting phenomenon. So
there you have it: the good, the
bad and the quirky. Take them
all together, and you still may
not be able to foresee what will
happen with the markets this
year, but you’ll have a lot to
think about.
But instead of trying to
predict what will happen in
2012, you may be better off
following these tried-and-true
investment strategies:
· DiversiIy your holdings.
By spreading your money
among a wide range of invest-
ments, you can reduce the
effects of volatility on your
portfolio. Keep in mind,
though, that diversification, by
itself, can’t guarantee profits
or protect against loss.
· Don`t ignore your risk
tolerance. If you worry exces-
sively about market fluctua-
tions, you may have too much
risk in your portfolio, which
means you may need to make
some changes.
· Always look at the 'big
picture.” Financial markets
will always fluctuate. But if
you can keep your focus on
your long-term objectives, and
make decisions accordingly,
you can avoid overreacting to
short-term events.
Like other years, 2012 will
bring with it periods of both
turbulence and smooth sailing.
But by making the right invest-
ment moves, you can still chart
a course that can allow you to
move ever closer to your future
goals.

2012 Business Outlook
Jason
www.jasonsaine.com
paid for by the jason saine committee
Nominated by the Lincoln County
Republican Party Executive Board to
fill the remainder of the term of former
Representative Johnathan Rhyne in
August, Jason Saine was appointed by
Governor Beverly Perdue to serve in
the House of Representatives of North
Carolina for District 97 which encom-
passes all of Lincoln County.
Saine had previously served as the
Chairman of the Lincoln County
Republican Party and had served in
other offices of the party including
precinct chairman, parliamentarian,
and as a township chairman.
In 1999, he served as the State
Chairman of the North Carolina
Federation of Young Republicans after
having previously served as the
group’s National Committeeman.
Aside from political activism over
the years, Saine has worked for and
owned a number of small businesses
in Lincoln County since graduating
with honors from the University of
North Carolina at Charlotte with bach-
elors degree in 1995.
Saine’s business experience has
mainly centered on technology and he
currently works professionally as a
Social Media consultant for a number
of clients and is part owner in his
family’s multimedia company.
“I enjoy studying how we commu-
nicate. News and social media have
always fascinated me and I enjoy
learning about new innovations in
how we interact,” he said.
Saine, a native of Lincolnton, now
lives in Denver with his wife Kathryn
and their 3-year-old son, Jackson.
“We love Lincoln County and I am
honored to represent our county in the
legislature. I grew up in Lincolnton,
have worked extensively in western
Lincoln County and now live in
eastern Lincoln County. I think I have
a unique understanding of the three
very distinct areas,” Saine said.
Long standing relationships have
already served him well coming into
the General Assembly midsession.
“I have worked for lower taxes and
against overregulation for years on
legislative issues. That plus consulting
for over half of the Republican mem-
bers has allowed me to build substan-
tial friendships on both sides of the
aisle. This will serve our county well
when it comes to representing our
interests in Raleigh,” he said.
On the first day of his appointment,
Saine said he had an eventful day.
Saine had an opportunity to prove
his conservative credentials on his
first day in the legislature when he
voted for the “Defense of Marriage
Act”, which will be on the primary
ballot for voters to decide on May 8th,
2012.
Saine said that vote and voting to
cap the gas tax demonstrates how he
would vote on other issues.
“I am a conservative and I believe
state government spends and waste
too much of our money. There are
better ways to do business and it does
not need to be on the backs of working
families, the elderly and small
businesses by taxing them to death.
We have got to be better stewards of
our resources.”
On reflecting on the business
outlook for 2012, Saine said the legis-
lature is addressing ways to make
North Carolina more competitive.
“This past year’s budget contained
the largest tax rate cut in the history of
North Carolina. That cut put $1.5
billion each year back into the hands
of North Carolinians. This will help us
compete with other states,” he said.
The cut consisted of allowing
temporary sales and personal income
taxes to expire, reducing the state’s
sales tax from 7.75% to 6.75%.
Saine also pointed to a number of
regulatory reforms and tort reform,
which his predecessor, Rep. Rhyne
had billed as one of his major accom-
plishments before leaving office.
“We have to continue to make
North Carolina a business friendly
state if we want new jobs and growth
here,” Saine said.
Rep. Saine says North Carolina has to be more business friendly
Rep. Jason Saine was sworn into
office in September by NC Supreme
Court Justice Paul Newby, seen here,
along with Saine’s family and mem-
bers of the NC House and Senate.

you too can be a part of this
award winning program!
2011 was an exciting year for
the Shaolin Kung Fu School.
September marked 5 years of
Shaolin Kung Fu excellence in
Denver, NC. The school is
celebrating many great accom-
plishments.
The Shaolin Kung Fu School
competes against a variety of
karate styles in tournaments
across the region. They are
consistently winning at these
tournaments, playing by their
rules. Just to name a few, Kristina
Huntsberger scored a perfect 10 in
forms at The Pan-Am State
Games of America in San Diego,
CA, bringing home 3 gold medals
from each event she entered. As
that was happening on the west
coast, Donnie Sigmon on the east
coast, won overall Grand Cham-
pion in forms at the Dixieland
Nationals in Myrtle Beach, SC.
Statewide, regionally and nation-
ally The Shaolin Kung Fu School
has done quite well. The Shaolin
Kung Fu School competed in 6
tournaments in 2011 and brought
home over 140 trophies and
medals and 5 grand champion-
ships. When asked about compet-
ing with other martial arts schools
in the Denver area, Sifu Mark
Williams replied, “There are
other schools in Denver who only
compete amongst themselves, in
their own in-house tournaments.
How can you truly evaluate your
instruction, your school, and your
students if you don’t have
anything to benchmark against?
What it comes down to is this, the
instructor of that school is
probably afraid of losing his
students to the other schools in the
area, if they lose to them when
they compete against them at
tournaments. The bottom line is,
are you worth your salt or not?
That is why our motto here at the
Shaolin Kung Fu School is, “NO
EXCUSES.”
October 8, 2011 was The 2011
Shaolin Challenge, an open
martial arts tournament hosted by
Sifu Mark Williams at the Denver
United Methodist Church gymna-
sium. The premise of the tourna-
ment was The Shaolin Kung Fu
School “challenged” any and all
martial arts schools/teams from
near and far. The winner of the
challenge would be awarded
$1000 cash, a 2011 Shaolin
Challenge banner and bragging
rights for the next year. There
were 500 participants involved in
the tournament, traveling from all
across NC, SC, VA, GA, FL and
from as far away as Mexico.
Twenty-three schools/teams were
bravely represented, but oddly
enough, this did not include many
of the local Denver and Lincoln-
ton schools, who were invited.
The Shaolin Kung Fu School
swept the competition, winning
the Shaolin Challenge with over
65 medals and 2 Grand Champi-
onships. The 2012 Shaolin
Challenge will return to Denver
on October 5 and 6, 2012. The
tournament was such a huge
success; it had to be expanded to a
two day event! The Shaolin
Challenge is sanctioned by the
Southeast Karate Alliance. This
year, 2012, The Shaolin
Challenge has been given the
great honor of also being
sanctioned by The North Ameri-
can Sport Karate Association.
This is a very prestigious honor
for The Shaolin Challenge. In
2012, The Shaolin Challenge will
join forces with Foothills Classic
in Salisbury and Dixieland
Nationals in Myrtle Beach to
offer The 2012 Carolina Triple
Crown.
Due to all the success of the
Shaolin Kung Fu School here in
Denver, Sifu Mark Williams was
given the great honor of being
inducted into The World Karate
Union Hall of Fame as “Master of
The Year” on June 11, 2011 at The
16th Annual World Karate Union
Hall of Fame Awards Ceremony
in Philadelphia, PA. He was one
of eight to be honored in this
category and the only Kung Fu
martial artist in the category.
In April, 2011 Sifu Mark
Williams’ teacher, over the past
35 years, Grand Master Johnny
Kwong Ming Lee of Dallas, TX
visited The Shaolin Kung Fu
School. Grand Master Lee hosted
several seminars for the students
of The Shaolin Kung Fu School,
Grand Master Lee’s Grand-
students. Grand Master Lee is
originally from Hong Kong,
China and has been teaching in
the US since 1974. It was a great
honor for The Shaolin Kung Fu
School to host this event.
In January 2012 The Shaolin
Kung Fu School expanded to
offer classes in Kannapolis, NC,
teaming up with KSD Dancers,
529 N. Rose Avenue. This is the
first step in fulfilling the goal of
Sifu Mark Williams in teaching
the traditional art of Lost Track
Shaolin Long Fist Kung Fu
throughout NC and eventually the
east coast.
As our schools grow, you too
can be a part of this award
winning organization where you
will learn a traditional martial art
and become a true martial arts
champion. The Shaolin Kung Fu
School is located at 2493 High-
way 16 N, Denver, NC in the
Harbor Winds Complex, beside
NY Bagels. (704)483-3140
