Details of shoot: (scenes)
While filming in the black box drama room at Haydon School I filmed
many different scenes, first of all I filmed extreme close up shots of my
main character Sam while using the lights to manipulate the mood of the
shots, furthermore I had him running with and without the ball, these
shots also varied because some I tracked him whilst others I didn’t. I have
close ups of the football where Sam my main character runs towards the
camera touches the ball and runs back. Furthermore I also did low angled
shots which meant I was eye level with the ball which shows the audience
how important a football is to a footballer and it shows them all the
different things which my main character can do with the ball. Whilst I was
in the black box I took the opportunity to take a few photos which will be
used on my magazine article and poster.
Special Requirements: (inc. details of props / costumes needed, preparation required
The props which I needed throughout the time filming was mainly a football this was
something which obviously features heavily throughout my shorts film and to ensure
continuity I have tried to use the same one each time, furthermore another prop which
was brought in specially was my main characters boots these are blue and very unique
they also stand out a lot more than if they were black, they are also fairly muddy which
adds a element of authenticity to my film however aren’t too muddy that they make a
mess.
Costumes: My main character was wearing the same costume as he had throughout my
short film to ensure continuity, this included a navy Adidas t-shirt and dark Nike tracksuit
bottoms.
