                       (Parking available in the church lot & handicap accessible) 
 
You and your neighbors are invited to parcipate in a 
community discussion with The Albany Damien Center 
concerning its potenal reuse of 728 Madison Avenue  
(the former Mormon Church) as its future home. 
 
  Staff  will provide background on The Damien Center and its mission, and 
begin discussions concerning potenal reuse of the former Mormon Church on 
Madison Avenue.  The presentaon will include an explanaon of use and 
preliminary drawings.  Community members are encouraged to come with 
quesons, suggesons and ideas. 
  Since 1998, The Albany Damien Center has bordered the Pine Hills 
Neighborhood in its locaon at 12 South Lake Avenue. The Albany Damien Center 
wishes to connue its history as an asset to the neighborhood and as a great 
neighbor at this new locaon. 
  More community meengs will be held as the process connues.  This is a 
preliminary meeng of introducon prior to a hearing with the Zoning commiee 
on June 23.  The Zoning Commiee meeng has been requested by The Damien 
Center for an interpretaon opinion as to whether a special use permit or a 
variance would be required.
