The Health and Human Services Commission has updated the state’s eligibility system so that clients can now apply online for food benefits,
medical assistance through Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program, and cash assistance to help pay for food, clothing, and housing costs. Clients can apply and manage their accounts at YourTexasBenefits.com. Clients have access to services 24/7, providing self-service options, and reducing office visits. YOU CAN HELP by enrolling your organization in the Community Partner Program. Community partners will help communicate the new online benefits and increase awareness about the tools and services available.

What is the Community Partner Program?
The Community Partner Program is a great way for faith and community based organizations to serve their communities more effectively. The program is free to participate and all your group needs is a computer with an Internet connection. Linking Texans to state benefits helps stretch your community resources farther. Partners will receive training, certification for staff and reports that show how many people you are helping. Texas Impact is partnering with the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Baylor University and the Texas Association of Community Health Centers to recruit and educate faith communities and other community-based organizations about this exciting new opportunity. To join the Community Partner Program, you will complete a Memorandum of Understanding between your organization and the Texas Health and Human Services Commission that clearly defines your respective responsibilities. You can find the Memorandum of Understanding at YourTexasBenefits.com.
