COURSE PROJECT ( 10
MARKS)
• Form groups of not more than 3 in each
• Choose any one of the following two options.
A) Choose a company dealing with any of the products listed in the next slide..
Develop a complete Report on “ OUR DREAM COMPANY “
(The same project was given last year. We have the copy of the material
submitted . If we see even 10 % overlap in any team’s project, then ALL the
members of that particular team will be given
minus 25 marks).
B) Submit a report dealing with 3 or 4 real life case studies related to any
of the product lines listed . You may carryout a comparative study of
different companies of the same industry ( say for example compare Maruti,
Tata Motors and Hyundai ) . You may also choose the best company , the
worst company and one more and compare. Your study should bring out the
good manufacturing practices the companies follow. Your study should also
do SWOT analyses of these companies.
COMPANY IS DEALING WITH ANY ONE OF
THE FOLLOWING PRODUCTS
• Fast moving consumer goods ( FMCG), like Soap, paste,
personal care product,
• Pharma products like general medicines, life saving like
cancer drugs etc.
• Consumer durables like TV, Washing M/C. DVD player,
Computers , Refrigerator, Air Fryer, Hair Drier , Micro oven
etc.,
• Automobiles like 2 wheelers ( scooters, bikes), 4
wheelers like cars, LCV / HCV , SUV/ MUV
• Personal products like watches, mobile phones, Tablets etc.
• Other vehicles like tractors, JCB etc.
• Yarn / Fabrics/ Garments
• Furniture
• Material Handling Equipment like AGV, Fork Lift etc.,
• Industrial Products like boilers, turbines, SPM , motors,
pumps etc
• Petroleum products
• Any other ( with my approval)
