Curricula and Proficiencies
You can easily create curricula that indicate a set of proficiencies that a student should master. You can share curricula with other teachers in your school/district.

Coverage and Tracking
If you associate a class with a curriculum, you can tag its lessons with the proficiencies they teach and tag its assignments with the proficiencies they assess.
