An issue dealing with morals and values between what is right and what is wrong.
Local police departments experience Ethical Issues daily.

Innocence Project (Ethical Dilemmas by Joycelyn M. Pollock Pg. 432)
A group of attorney’s who help prisoners who have been wrongly convicted.
The Innocence Project helped to clear an innocent mans name.

Morals (Ethical Dilemmas by Joycelyn M. Pollock Pg. 432)
Behaviors that are norms such as principles, values, and beliefs.
You should never change your morals to please anyone.

Public Servants (Ethical Dilemmas by Joycelyn M. Pollock Pg. 433)
Employees of the government who have a responsibility to protect the public.
Police officers are public servants.

Lex Humana (Corrections in America by Harry E. Allen Pg. 417)
Human law that is morally right.
Lex Humana is traditional and the opposite of man made law.

Punishment of a criminal that fits the crime.

A chance to present your case to a higher court.
Adam wanted an appeal after he was sentenced because he knew he was innocent.
