Another guest on the episode, Im Soo Hyang, commented, “You look a lot better in p erson,” to which Shindong replied, “I did diet a bit.” His hosts then asked Shindong a bout the particulars of his diet, which made him look almost unrecognizable from his younger days. Shindong explained, “I lost 33 pounds in three weeks. Even now, I eat one real meal a day, and eat salad the rest of the time.” The guests asked Shindong for his motivation behind the diet, and Shindong repli ed, “To be honest, I had a lot more parts in this album than I expected. She revealed that she drank a powder drink of mixed grains the minute she got up in order to curb the tendency to binge on an empty stomach, and did aerobic exe rcises and weight training at the gym for an hour. She also made sure to drink p

The “Watermelon Diet” first came about during last month’s broadcast of SBS‘s “Inkigayo“, wh ere Park Bom said in an interview, “I’ve been eating a lot of watermelon as a substi tute for rice.” The media instead relayed this as, “I only ate watermelon”, and thus c reated this mythical “Watermelon Diet”. Responding to the intense interest surrounding this so-called ‘Watermelon Diet’, tra iner Hwang stated, “To be honest, watermelon is a great fruit that satiates, and w e only chose it to help block out her snacking; it wasn’t eaten as a substitute. P ark Bom never underwent a one-food diet. I’m worried that the public will read the wrong information and start following it.” Trainer Hwang then explained that he created a diet plan that would steer Bom aw ay from her past western food diet to a more healthy alternative. Park Bom eats a total of five meals a day – three main meals and two snacking meal s. Trainer Hwang created the two snacking meals to allow Bom to enjoy her two fa vorite foods – corn and nuts. Additionally, Hwang got rid of a strict menu selection in Bom’s three main meals i n order to alleviate the stress attached to dieting. Hwang also created a diet planner which includes her daily eating records; he po sitively reinforces her new pattern of eating by paying her compliments on compl eted areas of her planner, before ticking it off with his special red marker. Trainer Hwang also regularly checks up on and approves 2NE1′s daily menus via call s and texts. He revealed that because Park Bom avoids his calls so often, he sav ed her contact number under the name, “Park Bbong” (Bbong = lie) on his cellphone. Comedian Oh Ji Hun has revealed that he lost 42 kg (about 92.5 lbs), thanks to h is unique diet plan. On July 28th, Oh Ji Hun guested on SBS‘s ‘Star Couple Show‘, where he claimed, “In a mat ter of two months, I went from 121 kg to 79kg; I lost almost 42 kg“. Oh Ji Hun added, “Before, I ate anything that I could get my hands on. But now, I eat mostly protein.” He continued, “If I ate eggs, then I had at least 50 egg whites . My whole family eats a lot.”

Park Sang Mi, Oh Ji Hun’s wife, said, “Oh Ji Hun’s family’s charm is their big appetite”. “I brought over enough beef to eat over three days and two nights. Our family of f ive, however, ate it all in one sitting.” Netizens who heard of Oh Ji Hun’s voracious appetite commented, “I wonder how hard i t was for him during his diet“, “His determination is admirable“, and “His wife is a bea uty“. After School‘s UEE has become a hot topic after she revealed her diet. On the July 20th broadcast of SBS TV‘s ‘Night of TV Entertainment‘, UEE revealed the d iet plan she followed to maintain a healthy figure. She stated, “Usually, I pack my own lunch” and pulled out a drink made from grains. She explained, “This drink contains black beans, wheat, brown rice, soy milk, and honey, so it can be used as one meal.” Additionally, she also showed the cameras the lunch that she packed for herself. The lunch contained brown rice, tofu with dried bonito, and a chicken breast sa lad. It was revealed that the half bowl of brown rice was 150kcals, the whole gr ain drink was 110kcal, and the chicken salad was 205kcals. Altogether, the meal did not exceed 1,oookcals. To conclude, UEE said, “Many people starve themselves when they are on a diet, but that doesn’t help. You have to eat well in order to lose weight more easily.” Earlier in March, 2NE1‘s Park Bom was under the netizens’ scrutiny for seemingly gai ning weight. Later in April, fellow member Dara posted up a picture of Park Bom nibbling on lettuce to lose weight. Fast forward a couple of months later, it ap pears as if her “lettuce diet” was a success! Recently, Park Bom surprised fans with picture she uploaded onto her me2day. Alo ng with the picture (bottom right), she left a message that reads, “Right now, I’m s itting on a massage chair in the recording studio fooling around. My glasses and my expression go well together, don’t they?” But, that’s besides the point. Many netizens were surprised by how well her lettuce diet went, leaving messages like, “I didn’t know you could get such great results with the lettuce diet!” It seem s like the netizens once again approve of her new look. Personally, I didn’t think Park Bom looked any bit out of shape back in March. Nor do I approve of a lettuce-only-diet as it is bound to be unhealthy for your bod y as we need a daily intake of carbohydrates, proteins, and such (just in case y ou readers do try to attempt this “lettuce diet”). But keep in mind that Park Bom mo st likely did eat other foods than just lettuce. Nevertheless, her new and “improved” look has got the netizens excited! Although the re has been no official news yet of when their comeback will exactly be, it defi nitely looks like we have a comeback coming soon! Stay tuned as we bring you mor e 2NE1 updates!
