Some quick online research will reveal that East Hampton and Southampton are the “big two” of the Hamptons communities with real estate buyers, and that “south of the highway” is much to be preferred. In our Hamptons projects we are focusing on the Hamptons luxury “starter home” – admittedly that means a home priced somewhere between $3 million and $4 million – but the pool of buyers for that section of the market is relatively large and regularly renewed as annual bonuses are paid out on Wall St.
