Laboratory Title: AC Fundamentals, Sinusoidal and Other Waveform Characteristics
Objectives:
Helps students to be familiarized to oscilloscope and function generator by:
·Using oscilloscope to analyze periodic waveforms.
·Setting oscilloscope and function generator at different frequency (f), Time period (T), Amplitude (Vp), Peak-to-Peak (Vpp), RMS value, and VRMS.
Results:
·Students get experiences about how manipulate oscilloscope and function generator to analyze periodic waveforms.
·Students have gotten Knowledge and techniques and could set different inputs in function generator to get appropriate periodic waveforms on oscilloscope screen.
Conclusions:
In conclusion, most of students found that this first Lab is a really introduction to AC fundamentals and periodic waveform characteristics in general.
