Compare the functionality and features of each. Results: The site provided had many different Java applications for different tasks associated with transmission line design and impedance matching. Other applications found on the internet were either not as intuitive or helpful, or just didn’t work at all. Conclusions: There are about 30 applications that range from slotted wave to quarter wave transformers and topics that are covered further in our book. These applications can be used for directly solving a lot of the homework problems that we have seen so far. It helps to see changes visually on the smith chart when changing parameters of the transmission line and load impedance values.
