Bradawl – is a tool with a blade similar to that of a straight screwdriver and a handle made from wood or plastic. A bradawl is used to make an indentation in wood or other materials in order to ease the insertion of a nail or screw.

Breaker bar – is a long non-ratcheting bar that is used with socket wrench style sockets. Breaker bars are used to 'break loose' very tight fasteners because their additional length allows the same amount of force to generate significantly more torque than a standard length socket wrench

Brush – a brush for applying paint, as one used in painting houses or pictures.

Caliper – an instrument consisting essentially of two curved hinged legs, used to measure thickness and distances.

Card Scraper – is a woodworking shaping and finishing tool. It is used to manually remove small amounts of material and excels in tricky grain areas where hand planes would cause tear out

Carpenter’s pencil – is a pencil that has a body with a rectangular or elliptical crosssection to stop it rolling away. Carpenter pencils are easier to grip than a standard pencil, because they have a larger surface area. The non-round core allows thick or thin lines to be drawn by rotating the pencil. Thin lines are required for high precision markings and are easy to erase, but thick markings are needed to mark on rough surfaces.

Cat’s paw – is a standard carpenter's tool, consisting of a round or hexagonal bar that curves at one end to form a pointed, cup-shaped tip with a V-shaped cleft for gripping nail heads

Center square – enables you to accurately locate the center of a round stock.

Nail gun – a compressed-air device for driving nails.

Nut driver – is a tool for tightening nuts and bolts. It essentially consists of a socket attached to a shaft and cylindrical handle and is similar in appearance and use to a screwdriver. They generally have a hollow shaft to accommodate a shank onto which a nut is threaded. They are typically used for lower torque applications than wrenches or ratchets and are especially popular in the electronics industry.

Paint roller – is a paint application tool used for painting large flat surfaces rapidly and efficiently.

Pliers – are a jointed lever. Pliers help to remove the bolts that hold two pieces of wood together. Cutting plier – when you need to cut through thick wires that won't yield to a standard household wire cutter Electronic plier – anytime you need to make very carefully controlled cuts on circuit boards. Also perfect for trimming the delicate wire used in jewelry-making.

Insulated plier – a must-have for all electricians, or anyone in the habit of doing their own home electrical repairs and installations Long-Nose plier – for zeroing in on specific points along wires that need to be carefully shaped Pump pliers – are ideal for tackling plumbing jobs, as well as miscellaneous household repairs that call for the installation or removal of stubborn bolts.

Plumb bob – a plumb-bob or a plummet is a weight, usually with a pointed tip on the bottom that is suspended from a string and used as a vertical reference line, or plumb-line. It is essentially the y-axis equivalent of a "water level".

Power drill – used to bore holes and attach fasteners such as screws.

Rotary tool – is a hand held power tool with a variety of rotating accessory bits and attachments that can be used for cutting, carving, sanding, polishing and many other applications.

Saw – tool for cutting solid materials to prescribed lengths or shapes. Most saws take the form of a thin metal strip with teeth on one edge or a thin metal disk with teeth on the edge.

Scaffold – a temporary platform to support workers and materials on the face of a structure and to provide access to works areas above the ground.

Scratch awl – is a woodworking layout and point-making tool. It is used to scribe a line to be followed by a hand saw or chisel when making woodworking joints and other operations.

Screw – consisting that has a as to cut material

used for fastening materials together, of a threaded and usually tapered shank slotted head by which it may be rotated so its own thread as it bores through the

Screwdriver – a tool for turning and driving screws in place; a thin, wedge-shaped or fluted end enters the slot or recess in the head of the screw.

Scriber – a pointed instrument used to mark lines on wood, metal, bricks, etc., to serve as a guide in sawing, cutting, etc.

Shovel – an instrument for lifting or scooping loose material, such as earth, coal, etc., consisting of a curved blade or a scoop attached to a handle

Soldering gun – is an approximately pistol-shaped tool for soldering metals using tin-based solder to achieve a strong mechanical bond with good electrical contact

Soldering iron – is a hand tool used in soldering. It supplies heat to melt the solder so that it can flow into the joint between two workpieces.

Speed square – a triangular-shaped tool which combines some of the most common functions of the combination square, try square, and Framing Square into one. It is used to make basic measurements and mark lines on dimensional lumber, and as a saw guide for making short 45 and 90 degree cuts.

Spokeshave – a carpenter’s tool; a kind of drawing knife or planning tool having a blade set between two handles; esp. used for shaping curved edges.

A staple gun or powered stapler – is a hand-held machine used to drive heavy metal staples into wood, plastic, or masonry. Staple guns are used for many different applications and to affix a variety of materials, including insulation, house wrap, roofing, wiring, carpeting, upholstery, and hobby and craft materials.

Wrench – is a tool used to provide grip and mechanical advantage in applying torque to turn objects—usually rotary fasteners, such as nuts and bolts—or keep them from turning.

MOVING

Backhoe – is used for demolition purposes and for digging holes. It is an apparatus that is used in most of the construction sites.

Bulldozer – used to push large quantities of soil, sand, rubble, or other such material during construction.

Cherry picker – a machine for lifting men or materials on a platform at the end of an extendable boom; usually mounted on a carrier with wheels to provide mobility.

Concrete mixers – widely used equipment is the concrete mixer which is used to prepare concrete mixture by mixing cement, sand, gravel and water. The mixer contains a rotating drum which mixes the concrete.

Concrete Mixer Truck – the concrete mixer is another important vehicle used in construction. It is equipped with a large cone-shaped structure. The cone points upward at a 45-degree angle at the back. The concrete and water are added to the inside of the cone, and then it turns and churns until the concrete is thoroughly mixed. When done, the driver positions the truck at the desired location where concrete is needed and pours the mixture through an apparatus at the back of the vehicle.

Crane – is a widely used construction tool that is basically used to deconstruct structures. It includes a number of cables which operate to pick up supplies from the construction sites. There are various types of cranes used for construction purposes. It is used to lift heavy equipment and construction materials easily and effortlessly.

Tower Crane – are a modern form of balance crane that consist of the same basic parts. Fixed to the ground on a concrete slab (and sometimes attached to the sides of structures as well), tower cranes often give the best combination of height and lifting capacity and are used in the construction of tall buildings
