January 3, 2011 To: Selected NETA Company Bidders From: Mike Mancuso POWER PLUS Engineering, Inc. is bidding the project detailed below to perform engineering studies (Short Circuit, Coordination and Arc Flash Analysis) for the FAA. We are looking for NETA companies to perform the data collection and label installation for the locations detailed below. POWER PLUS will be performing the engineering studies. The following two questions were asked applicable to price breakdown and data collection: Is the non-labor column for travel and documentation costs? Yes, and for all other non-labor costs. During the site survey, will the FAA be able to open energized panels? The FAA specialist accompanying the contractor will open energized panels as needed. These tasks would need to be pre-scheduled and approved by the appropriate SSC manager or designee prior to visiting the site. The FAA would do a risk analysis in each case to determine how to proceed. Per the SUPPLIES/SERVICES & PRICE COST Sheet below, costs for each site quoted must be broken down by Hours, Labor, Non-Labor and Price. The bid is due to me by 1/14/10. Work is scheduled to start 2/15/11 and 6-weeks are allocated for data collection. The project end date is 9/20/11 and labels will be ready on 8/1/11 for installation.
