The Family Therapy Clinic (FTC) at Texas Tech University is proud to sponsor a multi -topic, continuing education symposium for Spring 2011. The FTC has in invited vited several talented speakers to share their expertise on important familial familial topics. It is our desire to provide an opportunity for mental health professionals from multiple disciplines to earn valuable continuing education credits (CEUs) while advancing their clinical knowledge and skills; we also aim to provide informative sessions for parents and related caregivers.

2011 Family Therapy Symposium

The FTC upholds a strong tradition of providing affordable, high-quality therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families in the community. community. The Marriage aand nd Family Therapy (MFT) doctoral program is one of the few accredited MFT programs in the nation. Therapy services offered in o our ur clinic are provided by Master’s and Doctoral students in the MFT program who are supervised by MFT MFT faculty. In an effort to continue providing services on a sliding fee scale, the proceeds from this symposium will help to further serve uninsured families in the community as well as support the ongoing clinical operations of the Family Therapy Clinic.

Check-in  will begin at 8:00 a am m. Complimentary coffee will be provided, as well as a boxed lunch and drink for those attending a FULL day.
