If your current password for the HNB Virtual branch is not functioning properly, properly, please download the application on the home page to request for a new password. After filling the application please hand it over to your branch for processing. If you are a customer who is residing abroad, then kindly mail the application via registered post to the branch. Once the application is received by the E Banking unit/ Branch it will be forwarded for verification. Points to note when filling the application
Please fill your personal details according to the account details All the signatories of the account have to sign on the application Account holder must fill the correct option from the list (Ex: Regenerate new password)
If your current address is different from the account address, you need to forward a separate request letter addressed to your branch requesting HNB to send the new password to the specified address. Have you forgotten your user ID?
If you have forgotten your user ID please contact the E Banking unit with the account number and we will provide you with the User User ID and the related related details within 1 working working day.

Please follow the following steps for successful login, 1.

2. Depending on whether you are a corporate user or a personal user; you can select the appropriate login access from the left hand side of the screen. (Corporate or Personal) 3. You will find the following login information on your PIN mailer a. Corp ID – Corporate Corporate users (company id) / Personal users (Same (Same as your login ID) b. User ID – User User ID for the login c. Login password d. Txn Password – this this is required when you want to initiate any transaction in the new system (Financial/Non (Financial/Non financial f inancial ) 4.
Please install java which is available on the login page

Login to the system using the provided login information

System will require you to change the Login and the Transaction password together.
7. Your password will expire after 90 days from your initial login. Subsequently you will be required to repeat Step 6 to change your passwords.
The conditions for the password reset are given below.
The new password should be between 8-15 Characters.
This should be alpha numeric and you can choose to include special characters (@, & , !)
Login password and transaction password should not include the character sequences of the previous passwords (previous – “Lasitha123” new password “Gamitha123”) Login password and transaction password should not include the character sequences of the User ID or the Corp ID
You will not be able to use the previous 3 passwords (Standard regulation)
You will only get 3 attempts to enter the correct password (Due to the above restriction)
