LANSING, MICH. - Michigan offers some of the richest food experiences anywhere. This fall, there
are a variety of events that showcase the best food from the state. With the high diversity of
Michigan agricultural crops, there are many opportunities to partake in culinary tourism experiences
that celebrate the “Flavors of Pure Michigan.”
“Michigan’s agricultural bounty cultivates a wide variety of culinary tourism destinations across the
state,” said Jamie Clover Adams, director of the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural
Development. “As I travel the state, I am delighted to discover a wide variety of opportunities for the
public to take part in celebrating Michigan’s food and culinary adventures.”
As summer fades and the fall harvest season takes over, celebrate Michigan’s food and agriculture
with a wide range of special events. From Kent Harvest Trails to Brighton’s Farm to Table
Experience, there are many different opportunities available in the month of September. For more
