MARKET WRAP
Indian markets ended positive, Nifty managed to hold 6K level ending at 6029. Market records the highest ever turnover of Rs. 2,36,128 due to spurt in buying. US unemployment claims better than expected, down by 16K at 453K vs. 469k. Indian equity markets were trading down today but the sudden spurt in buying in late hours helped the Nifty to hold the crucial 6K level. Nifty closed at 6029 while Sensex ended above 20K at 20069. US jobless claims came better, despite that Dow Jones was down 83 points while S&P was down 6 pts. Euro markets too were down 0.50%.
