GRADING RUBRIC FOR COURSE DELIVERABLES
1. Class Participation including postings:
a. See Online Participation Evaluation Rubric under “General Course
Documents” on Moodle.
b. See examples of good and bad discussion forum postings under
“General Course Documents” on Moodle.
c. Submitting self and peer evaluations is mandatory. Failure to
submit participation evaluations may result in zero points,
regardless of actual level of participation.
2. Self-Assessment Journal:
a. All required self-assessments completed.
b. Results of each self-assessment included as appropriate. E.g., “My
LPC score was 81.”
c. Interpretation of result in personal terms. E.g., “I thought I was taskoriented, but according to my LPC score, I am relationship
oriented.”
d. Action plans as appropriate. E.g., “I am going to check online for
another test of task v. relationship orientation to verify the result. It
would be useful to know if I am indeed relationship oriented, as this
will help analyze situations in my workplace.”
e. See example provided on Moodle under “General Course
Documents.”
3. Leadership Development Report:
a. Evidence of all steps completed as specified in guidelines available
under “General Course Documents.”
b. Scanned figure included as required.
c. Personal reflections included.
d. Action plans sufficiently detailed (includes specific projects/actions,
names of those involved, dates and deadlines)
e. See example provided on Moodle under “General Course
Documents.”
4. Group Case Report:
a. All required elements included as specified in guidelines available
under “General Course Documents.”
b. Evidence of application of course content to case.
c. Quality of analysis and recommendation (if applicable).
d. See example provided on Moodle under “General Course
Documents.”
e. 100% of individual grade is based on peer evaluation. See group
project peer evaluation format on Moodle under “General Course
Documents.”
