I love the fact that I have made money from what I love to do more than anything in thi s world. Studies My education began at Hagerstown Business College now Kaplan College in Septembe r of 2001 receiving an Associates in the Applied Science of Graphic Design in Ap ril of 2003. That time since I have trained myself in the use and application o f numerous software platforms such as: Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Dreamw eaver, and Microsoft Office Professionel. I even do online tutorials for softwa re and how to improve professional Skills and even listen to podcasts on how to maximize my productivity in the workplace and in life. Experience The field of Graphic Arts though being very competitive was a passion and a desi re to me that was realized in the founding of AM Graphics in October of 2004. I n this business I had produced commercial and creative projects for several comp anies in Frederick and Hagerstown. More recently I had done some work for the Center for Business and Training with their website Hagersdowntown.com. I had updated content to their website conce rning retail stores, restaurants, and tourist attractions in downtown Hagerstown . I have also volunteered for the Leitersburg Haunted House from 1998-2007. It gave me an opportunity to help the community and perform a great service. One year I had to lay in a bed for about 5 hours with metal springs poking me at the sides. Another year I suffered nerve damage in my right arm because of the way I was su pported on a board for a prop where I was getting my heart ripped out of my ches t. I have had many jobs, I was a Custodian for Antietam Academy, an Inventory Audit or for RGIS, and even a package handler for FedEx, but through all of that I ha ve only sought to fulfill a career in the graphic arts and will continue to do s o.
