ollowing yet another success in 2006 the International
Early Music Festival & Exhibition is returning to
Greenwich for a sixth year. A lively mix of exhibition and
performance, the event will fill the Old Royal Naval
College with sounds of early music and song. An array of
superb instruments will be on sale including harps,
harpsichords, viols, lutes, crumhorns and, of course, an
incredible variety of recorders.
Join us for an entire weekend of everything early music
including continuous makers' demonstration-recitals,
Trinity College of Music master classes by leaders in the
field along with formal concerts. The concerts will take
place in the Old Royal Naval College Chapel, King
Charles Court, and Blackheath Halls.

Around 100 instrument makers from around the globe, shops, music
publishers, recording companies, societies and forums all gathered under one
roof. This is the perfect opportunity to compare, contrast and hopefully buy
the instrument you had always promised yourself! Exhibitors will present
their products in front of experts and clients and provide advice on all aspects
of these instruments from basic servicing, finishing and string replacement to
decoration and troubleshooting.
Instruments on display and for sale will include recorders, flutes, crumhorns,
shawms, racketts, lutes, viols, fiddles, sackbutts, trumpets, rebecs, harps,
hurdy-gurdies, drums, tabors, harpsichords, spinets, organs and clavichords.
Makers' demonstration recitals
Recitals throughout each day, on the hour, sponsored by the makers themselves
