This individual will be involved in coordinating the ealth Services !ntegration "und #roject. The overall goal of the $roject is to im$rove the health status of "irst %ation $eo$le living on and off reserves by facilitating collaboration and $artnershi$s& the reorientation of e'isting resources and services, the $romotion of effective communication& and the evaluation of the $rocesses. Jo' D(ties) • (nsure detailed yearly work $lans are com$leted. • (nsure yearly fiscal audit and re$orting re)uirements are met. • *aintain and establish e'isting and new linkages to $artnering agencies and ealth Technicians +dvisory ,rou$. • +ct as a liaison to $arties -"% . other/ interested in forming tri0$artite and multi0 $arty relationshi$s. • Conduct $resentations and u$dates to Chiefs, Tribal Councils and southern "irst %ation health technicians. • Com$letion and a$$roval of "ramework for ealth +da$tation . !ntegration ,uide information. *(a+i,ications)  + degree from a recognized university in the area of health or social sciences and1or an e)uivalent combination of skills and e'$erience&  ('$erience in $roject coordination&  ('$erience in $re$aration of work$lans and budgets&  ('cellent inter$ersonal and team leader skills&  2nowledge of "irst %ation health issues and $olicies&  ('$erience in develo$ing briefing notes and $osition $a$ers&  ('$erience in relationshi$ and network building&  2nowledge of the "irst %ations, federal and $rovincial government systems&  ('$erience in dealing with government funding arrangements.  3esearch and analytical skills&  #ossess com$uter skills including *icrosoft Word and ('cel&  ('cellent written and oral skills&  #ossess a valid driver4s license&  *ust be able to travel. #reference will be given to a$$lications from "irst %ation members of the Southern "irst %ations.
