How Can I become a Better Person

The MBTI Personality Test and Islam (with transliteration)
Identify your inborn preferences and Refine them!

Rules

“Kullun Muyassarun lima khuliqa lah…” “…Our Lord is He Who gave to each thing its form and nature, then guided it aright.”(Ch. 20, verse 50)

Rules (Cont’d)

Everybody is born for a reason and has a mission in life. Allah endows us with capabilities to do our mission in life. Complementarity in the world.

Rules (Cont’d)

We have to identify our skills/capabilities with Allah’s guidance, improve and capitalize on them for the dawah’s sake. We have to refine weaknesses in view of Islamic manners (Qur’an + Prophetic guidance)

Outcome
“Whosoever does righteous good deed, it is for (the benefit of) his own self; and whosoever does evil, it is against his own self. And your Lord is not at all unjust to (His) slaves” (Ch. 41, verse 46) “Righteousness is good character and wrong doing is that which wavers in your heart and about which you do not want people to know” (Prophet Muhammad PBUH)

The Four Dichotomies

Extraversion --- Introversion (What energizes you…) Sensing --- Intuition (What info grab your attention…) Thinking --- Feeling (How you make your decisions…) Judging --- Perceiving (How you lead your life…)
