How to Save an Egg
Today we implemented our How to Save an Egg design.
We started by dropping the eggs at 1m and then increased the level until we were 4m in the
air.
My egg design consisted of cotton balls in a small container. When we dropped my egg it
lasted until before the 1st drop because I put too much cotton balls and I needed a bigger
container.
We had to observe all of our classmates designs as they were dropped, from this
observation I can see he following things that being crucial in producing a good design.
1. Big container
2. Soft objects inside the container.
3. Long object so it doesn't hit the bottom of the container.
4. Perhaps add a parachute so it doesn't hit the floor so hard.
Next time to improve upon my egg design I would get a bigger container and put less cotton
balls in it.
Based on this observation I made, I could see that some designs were more effective
because they put soft objects in their container and had a big container.
