Today we implemented our how to save an egg design. We
started by dropping the egg at 1m and then increased the
level until we were 4m in the air. My egg design consist of
bubble wrap, duct tape and two plastic bags. When we
dropped my egg it lasted until the very top of the adventure
playground. We had a chance to observe all of our
classmates design as they were dropped, from this
observation I can see the following things being crucial in
producing a good design:
1. Make it softer.
2. Make it bigger.
3. Give it a parachute.
4. Add a pillow.
Next time to improve upon my egg design I would add a
pillow and a smaller parachute. I would use these
improvements on my design because I want to make the
landing softer and the parachute makes it go slower to the
ground. Based on the observation I made I think I made a
working project. I could see that some designs more
affective because they were bigger.
