One of the most endangered places in Peru is Pastoruri Glacier,
located in the Huascaran National Park, in the Ancash region of Peru.
A few years ago, you could do many sports related activities like
trekking, mountaineering, etc. But now, Pastoruri only has 39% of its
snow left. It is a historical place, naturally attractive and we want
that our generation must be aware of this place, being Peruvian
citizens.
A scientific study suggested painting Pastoruri glacier with white
painting on the rocks reflecting the insulation and stopping the
melting of ice. The government should invest more money to find
the solution to reduce the impact of global warming in Pastoruri. In
our opinion, the government must encourage foreign tourism in
order to boost overall tourism in the area. If you wish to join our
