My !o! has ne%er sugar,coated her -ob for !e $hile " $as gro$ing u'. " #ne$ that the !others breastfed their babies fro! the !o!ent of birth& that $as co !!on #no$ledge in !y house. +he has drilled into !y siblings* and !y o$n head all the benefits of breastfeeding. My !o! has al$ays been !y ins'iration for !y drea! d rea! of beco!ing a nurse and a lactation consultant) and she is hel'ing !e chase this drea! do$n. " contacted three nurses) but only t$o res'onded. hese nurses each had at least / years of e('erience) though they $or#ed in different units. oth nurses had other 'lans in !ind) but their 'assion for hel'ing others o%ertoo# their decision. he first nurse " inter%ie$ed $as ude *3y!. ude has been a nurse at Petalu!a Petalu!a alley 5os'ital for fi%e fi%e years) but has been a nurse nurse for / years. +he $or#ed her $ay into the labor and deli%ery unit by recei%ing e('erience as a lesser !edicine nurse at the age of 16. 3ina Ro!a has 7 years of e('erience) but is retired no$. +he thought of beco!ing an usherette and an air'lane ste$ardess) not a nurse& ho$e%er) 3ina had !any different nursing -obs8 !ed surge nurse) o ncology nurse) ortho'edics nurse) and
