INTRODUCTION
 It is necessary to have an intelligent system

which identifies the accident before it
happens and informs or signals a driver to be
alert.
 The Ultrasonic sensors will give the distance
between the present vehicle and the vehicle
which is coming in the opposite direction or
the Obstacle.
Eye blink Sensor which can be fixed to the
drivers Head, to monitor the eye blink rate of
the driver, So that when the eye blink rate
falls below certain level, we can alert the
driver.

Ethanol Sensor which can be fixed near to the

drivers Mouth, to monitor the ALCHOHOL level
of the driver, So that when the driver is drunk ,
we can make the engine off i.e. not allowing the
driver to drive the car in drunk state.
The URM so used will constantly monitor the
distance of the user vehicle from the
vehicle/object in front and when the distance
falls below a certain threshold, it alerts the
driver using a increasing loudness beep signal.
If collision occurs than gps module is triggered
to evaluate the current GPS coordinates and the
coordinates so evaluated are sent to the
hospitals and to the Police

• Step 4. The GPS module is triggered to find the present coordinates
• Step 5. The GPS coordinates are sent as text messages to the pre-saved contancts

• Step 1. Transmission of Ultrasonic waves.
• Step 2. Receiving the refected wave and calculating the distance ,d of obstracle.
• Step 3. If d<threshold , proceed to Step 4 . Else jump to Step1.

• Step 1. If Ethanol sensor output is high due to driver's breathe than engine will be
turned off along with the alarm.

• Step1. Infrared Sensor transmit the infrared waves toward eye
• Step 2. If refected Wave intensity is high for longer duration then drowsyness is
detected
• step 3. Alarm the Driver using buzzer and light If drowsyness still persist than engine
will be turned off

Overview

BENEFITS
Intelligent systems are in used with every

aspect of systems, CARs are the critical
systems which are real time and lives are
involved.
This System not only deals with component
monitoring, does even more than that.
a. Passenger activity monitoring
b. Behavior analysis.
c. System behavior.
d. Notification & co-ordinate.

Eye blink Sensor & Alcohol detection are the vital

and of great importance from the perspective of
passenger safety and traffic safety.
Impact detection and notification is also one of
the life saving and critical information provider
system.
Reduce Casualty by timely informing the
Hospitals about the collision with the GPS
coordinates of the accident site.
Inform the Law agency (such as Police) about the
accident, with the coordinates of the spot.
Could also help law enforcing agencies in
identifying the criminals in road rages such as
‘Hit and Run Case’.
