FREE Evernote helps you remember everything from notes to ideas to snapshots to recordings. When you add something for offline viewing to the Evernote app, it syncs across iPods, iPhones, and your computer. Text in webpages and snapshots are autosynced and made searchable. Premium services are available as in-app purchases but are not required.

FREE Dropbox, SugarSync, and Box allow you to store your content “in the cloud” for easy access anywhere with Internet access. After you install one of these apps on your computer, any file you save to them automatically syncs and saves to all computers and devices, accessible on the Web as well. These apps can be used not only to share ideas and projects, but to back up important data in a centralized location. Amount of available storage varies from app to app.

Nook, ½ iBooks,  Scholastic’s Storia, ½ and Follett Digital Reader  FREE These are all free eBook reading apps. However, the books to read via these apps are not free. Barnes & Noble sells books for Nook and offers an educator’s discount. They are one-to-one. iBooks is Apple’s iOS app, and ebooks will need to be purchased individually. Storia works with Scholastic Book Club eBook orders. Finally, Follett has an app if your library has purchased FollettShelf’s ebooks. They sell both one-to-one books and multi-user ones. Also, there are tens of thousands of free books, classics, out there

that are out of copyright, and via Project Gutenberg, these can be accessed, imported, and read as PDF documents and in the ePub format on iPad.

Divisibility Dash ½ 1.99 Divisibility Dash is a math game designed to help younger students practice division facts and/or multiples of numbers. A divisor is shown at the top. Then the student clicks on number globes that are multiples of that divisor. If a student chooses a number that is not a multiple, the globes lock. Once the globes reach the top, the game is over. Equivalent Fractions ½ 1.99 The Equivalent Fractions game by McGraw-Hill is a way to practice and reinforce fractional relationships.
