ROBIN ARBUCKLE Dear Sir/Madam, My name is Robin Arbuckle, and I currently hold a position as an IT Support Analyst within Aberdeenshire Council, a local government authority in Scotland, in the United Kingdom. I am hoping move to Wisconsin, and the Milwaukee district for the year of 2012, and would be very interested in any potential positions you would have available for this period. I have worked at Aberdeenshire Council since 2003 and during that time have held roles as an IT Support Assistant and IT Support Analyst. I am based at Westhill Academy in Aberdeenshire (which provides a schooling level that is equivalent to the American Junior High and High School) and my Technician and I provide 2nd line support, both curricular and corporate, for their network of over 400 PCs. Within this role I have gained invaluable supervisory and training experience which aids the coordination of IT support for the Academy, and additionally, four primary schools (equivalent to US Elementary School), a local government run swimming pool and public library. Altogether we provide support for over 650 PCs. I am experienced in the support of Microsoft networks, with a specialization in RM Community Connect networks. In my current role I have developed a number of transferrable skills such as good communication skills, supervisory skills, dedication, good time keeping, and the ability to work efficiently to tight deadlines. Additionally, my current position has allowed me to become flexible, working proficiently both within a team, in an office environment, and on my own, on personal projects. Thus, I feel experience in ANY role you may have to offer would be both an exciting and challenging prospect. I will be visiting Milwaukee in both late April and late August of 2011, so if you wished to speak with me in person, I would be available during those times. Alternatively, my contact details are listed on my resume, which I have attached for your attention. I thank you for your consideration and look forward to hearing from you. Yours sincerely, Robin Arbuckle ROBIN ARBUCKLE ADDRESS: 212 Rosemount Place Aberdeen, Scotland, UK AB25 2XR TELEPHONE NUMBER: EMAIL ADDRESS: (+44) 7719 437948
