Responsibilities:
 Responsible for 300 Virtual servers in house facility and 500 remote virtual servers for
their maintenance, troubleshooting, disk management, their availability and different
applications running on them. There are about 100 physical servers in this facility.
 Managed datastores in ESX hosts, made ESX host in the VMware
 Able to vmotioning, cloning and take snapshots of virtual machines.
 Able to create new VLANS in the VMware.
 Strong knowledge of VMDKs, Physical and Virtual RDMs in VMware.
 Making new virtual servers with Linux and Windows server OS, windows failover
Clustering, installation of SQL servers on windows server, MSTDC configuration.
 Worked on Chassis installation of Cisco USC blade servers 6500 series then Installing OS in
them through KVM.
 300TB HP EVA storage migration to Netapp. Presented new storage to vcenters and
Vmotioned the VMs to new storage and cleaned up old storage.
 SUN Solaris Sparc M3000 and T5220 Servers Backup and recovery. Used Bootp and DHCP
server Strategy. Used ufsdump to take backup on the NFS share in remote facility and
restored, tested and Implemented in production.
 Developed IBM AIX servers Backup procedure through NIM server. 10 servers have 20TB
SP with 2 TB each on 20 TB SP. I broke the 1 Big SP in to 10 2 TB SP so that recovery
after server failure won’t take that long.
 NagiosMigration from Nagios core to Nagios XI enterprise version with nagios fusion
integration on top. Created Custom Pluggins and scripts for monitoring.
TroubleshootedNagios XI, Taking Ticket system integration with nagiosxi. Custom
Modifications in order to do required groupings. Integrated 4 Nagios XI in different
Environments along 1 Amazon AWS server into Nagios fusion. IntegratgedNagios XI to
nagios Ticketing manager to make auto ticketing.
 Installation and configuration of windows servers 2003 and 2008 in vmware and physical
