Kent School District: Potable System Rehabilitation for 18 Schools
Location: Kent, Washington
Potable pipe systems in the Kent School District’s schools had lead in the solder that was leaching into the drinking water. Lead contamination from older solder is a common problem. The customer needed a solution for their pipes that would allow the schools to remain open.

Date of Completion: March 2001 - May 2003
Nu Flow lined the potable pipe systems in 18 schools with our patented epoxy coating to prevent lead leaching. We worked at night so the faculty and students could use the buildings during the day, and the liner was installed through existing access points, which prevented any damage to the buildings.
