Project Background
 This project aims to design a wireless broadband

technology that will support roaming Internet access via cell phones and other handheld devices.
 This design will offer significant improvements over

older cellular communication standards.

EDGE
UMTS

HSPA
HSPA+

LTE

LTE gives a superior user experience when it comes to  Stability  Throughput, and  Latency.

Long Term Evolution
 LTE is completely IP-based. It turns voice calls into
  

digital data, and sends them over the network as voiceover-IP (VoIP). Peak internet download speeds of up to 100 Mbps Supports a theoretical peak upload limit of 50 Mbps. LTE supports flexible carrier bandwidths, from 1.4MHz up to 20Mhz. It also reduces latency up to 10 ms round-trip times between user equipment and base station, and to less than 100 ms transition times from active to inactive.

Disadvantage
Battery Drain

People living in a LTE enabled area can enjoy the advancement of LTE.
