Get ready for a new rescheme, live a fitter, slimmer, and ahealthier lifestyle with the new award winning health documentary “The Health and Fitness CRISIS”

“Never has Health and Fitness been so easily explained as the Health and Fitness Crisis”
We recently interviewed a personal trainer at David Lloyd gym in Solihull to ask what her personalviews are on the subject of fitness and health. So Harriet what are your views on the topic of fitness and health and how important is it? “I feel that fitness and health is very important if you wish to have a healthy wellbeing. However you must have a perfect balance between the two, you can’t eat well and not exercise orvice versa, it just doesn’t work.” What advice would you give to people who can’t afford or don’t live by a gym.”The answer to that is simple, go for light runs in the local park, swim in your nearestswimming baths, or a more exiting way, is join a club, undertake a sport, not only will this keep youfit, but you will meet some great people and have a lot of fun along the way”. Finally what options do you have for those who struggle to eat healthy or who find It boring.“I understand how people can find it boring, but then again, you don’t have to just eat asalad to be healthy. You can mix it up a bit, eat chicken, and spice it up a bit with some sauces. Evenexperiment with different vegetables, just have a laugh with it and trydifferent things, make it fun”. The rest of that interview will be shown on the documentary ‘The fitness and health crisis’ on BBC3 this Wednesday att 8pm .

n recent years obesity has grown and became a major problem in today society. Not only withadults but with people in there adolescent years. Health surveys have been carried out numeroustimes and it is showing a continuous growth within the population. With so many opportunities for people to get fit or eat healthy, why is obesity a growing problem? this brings us at (magazine name)to the conclusion that it is easier for people to the unhealthier approach to life. We conducted basicresearch into preparing healthy meals, it appears to be easier to buy aMcDonalds meal for £2.00 rather than prepare or even buy asalad which would cost roughly £5.00 This is showing us that the major foodcompanies are not helping the obesity crisis, as they are making it easier and more convenient forpeople to eat there. Another avenue we looked down was the fitness side of things. If people areconstantly eating unhealthy foods, how are they going to balance this out so they do not gain anincredible amount of weight, simple right? The obvious option would be to join a gym, however, after asking this question to many different ages of people, the same answer kept getting repeated; ‘The gym is too expensive’ or ‘I don’t have a gym local tome’ For us here at (Fitness weekly) we believe there are simple alternatives to this, which is alsoat a cheaper cost. If people are finding that gyms are too expensive, there is nothing wrong withgoing for a run in a park, or a swim in the local swimming pool. Even the option of joining a localsports club whether it be football, rugby, hockey, they are all options which will help increase yourfitness, health and also personal moral. You could also find them rather sociable and meet somegreat people, why not give it a try?
