It is with great sadness that we say that Joseph Ammar, a dear co-owner at Presidents Village, has passed away. Joseph was a kind and wonderful person who attended many of the PVCA events. He was a dear friend to many co-owners and a loving husband to his wife, Marie. Let’s keep the Ammar family in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. The Board of Directors put together a list of re-occurring violations that have unfortunately become serious problems within the complex. The Board has decided to begin charging fees for these violations. Please see the attached list of violations and their corresponding fees. If you have any questions or to report a possible violation or concern, please call the office at 586-574-1094.

Violations and Fees

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Save the Date!
The Presidents Village 42nd Annual Meeting will be:
Date: Sunday, May 6th, 2012 Time: 11 AM – 3 PM Place: Century Banquet Center on 14 Mile and Maple Lane. More info will be sent out later this month! We hope that all co-owners will attend this important meeting!

We hope you have a happy and lucky St. Patrick’s Day!
We would like to remind co-owners to please close the security doors when you enter and exit the buildings. Please check to make sure that the door has closed tightly behind you. Co-owners will leave doors propped open at times. Please be aware that if an office worker, maintenance worker or member of the cleaning crew notice an open door, they will close it. This is for safety reasons. Thank you!

New Co-Owners!
We have had several new co-owners moving into the PVCA complex recently! Welcome! Please remember to stop by the Office to receive a new coowner packet. This packet contains important information! We look forward to meeting you!

Maintenance Issues
Please remember to call or email the Office if you have a Maintenance issue that you would like addressed. Unfortunately, many co-owners approach the Maintenance crew directly. While our workers always enjoy greeting co-owners, maintenance requests are required to go through the Office so they they can become official work orders. This makes the process fast and simple. Call the office at 586-574-1094 or email us at [email protected]

St. Patrick’s Day Irish Tea Cake
Ingredients: 1/2 cup butter, softened, 1 cup white sugar, 2 eggs, 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract, 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 cup milk, 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar for dusting Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9 inch round pan. 2. In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time then stir in the vanilla. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt; stir into the batter alternately with the milk. If the batter is too stiff, a tablespoon or two of milk may be added. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan. 3. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes in the preheated oven, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool in pan on a wire rack, then turn out onto a serving plate. Dust with confectioners' sugar right before serving. From: http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Irish-Tea-Cake/Detail.aspx
