COURSE NUMBER AND TITLE, CATALOG DESCRIPTION, CREDITS: MAT 0057 MATHEMATICS FOR COLLEGE SUCCESS (*) (3 CREDITS) This course prepares a student for success in MAT1033 Intermediate Algebra and/or MAT 1100. Topics to be covered include Integers, Fractions and mixed numbers with signed numbers, Decimals with signed numbers, Order of operations, Algebraic expressions, ex pressions, Algebraic equations and inequalities, Exponents and polynomials, Factoring polynomials, Rational expressions, Graphing linear equations e quations and inequalities, and Radicals. (*) Preparatory credit, does not count toward a degree or certificate
