WEEK OF OCTOBER 19 TO 23, 2009
From the Middle School Office
Dear Parent/s: Parent-Teacher Conferences (PTCs) will occur next week. On Monday, October 19 from 1:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. teachers will meet with parents and students with surnames A – K. On Tuesday, October 20 from 1:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. conferences will take place with parents and students with surnames L – Z. Please plan to attend PTCs and talk to the teachers about your child’s level of achievement. If there are any questions about PTCs, please contact the MS Office at 840-8550 for clarification. Since Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled for the afternoon, students will be released early at 12:00 noon on both days. Please make the necessary arrangements to have your child picked up promptly at dismissal time. From October 19 – 22, all students will be photographed for the Salinlahi, the Middle School Yearbook. Please continue reading the parent bulletin for information regarding photo packages if you are interested in purchasing one. On Friday, October 23 the school will be celebrating Filipiniana around the theme Bayanihan sa ISM. The Philippine Cultural Club has reframed some of the day’s activities in order to support victims of the recent floods. Included in the bulletin is a copy of the letter that was sent home last week through all students and that outlines the changes. We hope you will support the Philippine Cultural Club in their endeavor.
Sincerely, Danielle Fredericks Middle School Principal Clarissa Sayson Middle School Assistant Principal
